This play in the 2020 race . This is bulls bears. Im david asman. Joining me, john layfield, trish regan, Gary Kaltbaum and robert wolf. Trumps visit to pittsburgh marks his 14th visit to the state since taking office, surprising win in pennsylvania was key to winning the presidency in 2016. President trumps hoping he c20. So will his hard sell of fracking and Energy Independence help him keep this historically blue state in his corner . Trish, what do you think . Yeah, i think it does. The reason for that is because dont forget who the pennsylvania voters are. I mean you think about democrats historically and robert and i have talked about this before because i grew up in an Irish Catholic family where you were a democrat just like you were irish and just like you were catholic; right . But a lot of those people became disenfranchised and felt shut out of the party. David including union members. Sure, right . This is the crowd hes trying to appeal to. If he can bring them in while keeping his base, thats a pretty important factor in all of this. I think this helps him with pennsylvania voters. 6. 165 million votes in pennsylvania in the last election. Trump only won by 44,000. Theres a reason why hes going to visit that state about 700,000 times in the next year. [laughter] and look, they are playing right into his hands with saying were getting rid of an industry or trying to that has a lot of jobs in that state. That is important to the state. Thats had a big makeup in the state. I dont know what they are thinking because if they are trying to lose pennsylvania again, they are doing a good job of gift wrapping it for the president at this point in time. Not surprised that he is going to pennsylvania. I think he probably has a better chance in pennsylvania than some other of the swing states. You know, the polls today have someone like biden beating him in pennsylvania by north of double digits. I think fracking is a smart move for him. Right now were seeing a deterioration in Industrial America with the manufacturing. Manufacturing if you look to the recent jobs [inaudible] fracking is a light at the end of the tunnel. Im not surprised hes going at that. I disagree with biden and warren on this. I think we should have all in energy approach in which fracking is part of it. I think you can debate whether it should be on government lands or not versus the private sector. Thats a different debate, but i think in ohio, you know, frackings going to play incredibly well. I think it is a pretty easy sell. President trump taking credit for fracking success in the United States is like Fred Flintstone taking credit for the cartoon. He was there but not the one who caused it. Just like obama didnt cause it either. It was George Mitchell and others in texas that developed the fracking. President trump has helped fracking along and when you look at whether he has either he gets credit for it or not, we certainly know how it can end. It can end with warren and with sanders. We have 8 1 2 Million Barrels of oil per day that comes out of shale oil that is predominantly fracking. That is 500 Million Dollars a day that we take out of this economy if they banned it plus 1. 7 million jobs that would end the day they ban this. This is a crazy economic statement that these people would make to ban fracking. Yeah, well, you know, its not just fracking. I mean, you get warren and sanders they have been pushing of course for that fracking ban on the campaign trail among lots of other things like socialism. Anyway Outgoing Energy secretary perry telling our Maria Bartiromo this morning that fracking is not just good for our economy, it is an Energy Security issue. Listen in here. I cannot express how important from a National Security standpoint developing that appalachian region, and the president knows that. He supports that, adding value to that product and then shipping it around the world to give america this Geopolitical Impact that we have not had maybe ever. And yet some of your leading democratic colleagues opponents to the president are calling for a fracking ban. I think thats so short sided, you know, falling into the political trap of whatever the flavor of the day is, from the leftleaning side of the political aisle. Robert, is it a political trap . Well, i think we should really differentiate, right, because president obama was for fracking. Were talking about Elizabeth Warren and bernie sanderings who is not for fracking and the green new deal. Im for a green new deal, not their green new deal. I think Climate Change is important. Theres something happening. I think we should have an all in energy approach. The idea the president is taking credit. Im not going to compare him to Fred Flintstone [laughter] i will pass it to john to take that one on. [laughter] i do think thats not a good proposition for democrats going into swing states. David but it is happening all over. I mean here in new york state for example you have the governor banning fracking in pretty much the whole state, also going after the pipelines that provide natural gas all over this state. Thats going to cost consumers a lot a huge debate going on between the climate and, you know, Industrial America. We havent figured that balance out. If you google forgive me, gary, i refer to you. I will hold my thought. If you google the word fracking right now, it is all about everybody thats trying to shut down fracking, and by the way, the other side of this is less energy is higher prices to the consumer and every 10 cent move in gas over one year period is 10 billion dollars out of the economy. Lets not forget that part of the equation that they would be a part of. For me it is amazing they are all or nothing. Theres never an in between for these people. Were getting rid of it all. It makes no sense. A National Security argument i think is a big one that perry was bringing up; right . If we want to become less dependent on the middle east, you know, were getting out of syria bingo. The president touted today, look, youve got to have another source for this stuff. If you have an independent source im going to hit back with the famous guy who was on dancing with the stars. Lets be clear we have not been we have been Energy Independent for more than three years. We were getting north of 50 of our energy, okay, from the u. S. , domestic between fracking, natural gas, our oil, nuclear, solar, wind, renewable, so we have not been dependent on foreign oil for a while. This is not new. It may be new to the secretary, but it is not new to the country. Why not just keep producing yourself . Go ahead. Robert that was to my point about Fred Flintstone taking credit for the cartoon. Look, no matter who did this, this happened during obama years. It is now continuing during trumps year. Both were for fracking. We know where we stand with President Trump. We dont know where we stand for sure with sanders and warren if they can get this passed. In california, you could pay off the california debt if they would allow fracking. David unbelievable. We need a bridge to the future. We cant get there immediately. Not an either or. David do you know what will be fascinating, how barack obama comes out on this issue because at some point he may be forced to choose between these two democratic positions. We have a fox business alert on shares of tesla. They are soaring after hours, almost 15 right now. Roberts head is going to explode. Lets go straight to Deirdre Bolton who is going through the flum bers for us numbers for us. You have a lot of good news coming from the erratic sometimes company. If you look at earnings, the company exceeding wall streets expectations, revenue being in line for this fiscal third quarter. So 6. 3 billion dollars. Thats what pretty much everybody expected. But some of the other news i think is maybe pushing the stock up after hours is that the model y is ahead of schedule. We know really this has been teslas biggest problem, right . Its a problem of production and they have faced problems of execution. So they are reassuring Investment Community that this model y which is an electric hybrid Utility Vehicle is going to be available next year. That is what wall street wanted to hear. Tesla is saying by summer 2020. They are also talking about their plans in shanghai which by the way their plant in shanghai which by the way is the First Company to really open a 100 foreignowned facility obviously in another country, china in this case, which is the worlds biggest market for electric vehicles. So tesla is saying that production is actually ahead of schedule in shanghai, part of what is moving the stock after hours. They also reported this key number, this was really the one that i would have to say pretty much anyone cared about was production for this current quarter. So they say they were pretty close to the 100,000 vehicles produced. It can be reassuring to some investors who say okay i love elon musk, hes amazing, a genius, but the problem has always been on delivery, production and deliveries, and at least for this current quarter, he seems to have answered that saying okay, we can dream big, and we can also get the cars to your driveway, if thats where you want them. Basically hitting that 100,000 production number that was so important. By the way, david, that is a a Record Number for the company. Back to you. David deirdre, thank you. Robert . Whats interesting, you know, great recap from deirdre, but, you know, we have always looked at their cash burn. I didnt hear what they have they have been burning more cash than imaginable because they havent been able to deliver and execute. I didnt see the numbers. That will be an interesting sign for wall street. David look at this, 15 1 2 right now, trish. Look, the market likes it. Youve got to be able to get your products to your customers. That should kind of be, you know, a basic, but tesla has had some issues with that, so if they can show the world that they have addressed that and that they can actually deliver on time, people get all the more excited, but wow, 16 now. David unbelievable. Gary, are you buying tomorrow . No, but i will say this, theres a huge short position in the stock and thats what fuelling some of this. My Biggest Issue with tesla is their earnings are all over the map. David yeah. One great quarter. One horrible quarter. I dont have the nerves for Something Like that. David all right, roberts nodding his head yes when you say covering the shorts there. Thats probably going on as well. David facebook ceo zuckerberg getting grilled on capitol hill today fielding some tough questions from both sides of the aisle. Hillary vaughan is in d. C. And following the hearing all day. What are the highlights . David, zuckerberg made the case that his idea or his plan for this global system ran completely off his own currency libra that hes going to create is not about making money. He says it is about bringing in the 14 Million People in the u. S. Who are unbanked, dont have Bank Accounts and he says really this is all about trying to do something good. Making money is certainly not my main motive here. Im trying to use the position that i have to do things that i think are going to make the world better and theyre going to improve peoples lives. I think that facebook has awired too much power acquired too much power. It has become too big and we should seriously consider breaking it up. And thats exactly what zuckerberg was here today to also try to convince them not to do. But while he tried to make that case for his company to go bigger, he faced a lot of scrutiny over his companys past and present problems. Zuckerberg defended his decision not to fact check political ads because he believes his platform should not be in the practice of censoring politicians, but some law makers think it really is just about making money for zuckerberg. Do you see a potential problem here with a complete lack of Fact Checking on political advertisements . Well, congresswoman, i think lying is bad. Is so you wont take down lies or you will take down lies . Thats a Pretty Simple yes or no. Congresswoman im talking about [inaudible]. In a democracy i believe that people should be able to see for themselves what politicians, that they may or may not vote for so you wont take them down. You may flag that it is wrong but you wont take it down . Zuckerberg also said he thinks libra will be so safe and secure that he would put his childrens inheritance into this payment system, but a lot of people here today, david, not quite convinced or sold on this idea. David right. He could always leave a couple of billion in cash in case it doesnt work out for his kids. Hillary, thank you very much. It wasnt only aoc, representative tlaib also took zuckerberg to task on facebooks stance to not censor political ads. Look . Mr. Zuckerberg why should the very politicians who lead our country be held to a lower standard for truthfulness and decency than the average american . Congresswoman, this isnt about helping the politicians. This is about making sure that people can see for themselves i know what politicians are saying. David who made the better point here, gary . Politicians that wouldnt know a giga bite from frostbite asking the questions amazing to watch. If you are going to censor political ads on facebook, you will have to go after every ad thats on every tv network, every radio, guess what these ads do . They lie. We watch forever being told that grandmas being thrown off the cliff. They are going to take food off your kids table. You name it they have said it in these ads. But all of a sudden facebook is bad because they are running the same ads also . This is just ridiculous. Yeah, i mean, i hear ya. Nonetheless, you want some accountability, right, from facebook because they can say whatever they want. If someone is paying for it, they can say whatever they want about anyone, and it seems rather unjust. I suppose then the system is supposed to work where you sue them for libel . Is that how would you retaliate . When you look at the vast amount of fake stuff out there, it is frustrating, whether it be facebook, google, whatever, it exists and theres no recourse. David who is going to do the Fact Checking . A lot of Fact Checkers have their own biases they throw in there too. Sure. Andrew jackson once spread through his Mainstream Media today horrible lies about senator davie crockett, ran him out of tennessee, no one fact checked that either. This has been around since the begoing of our country since beginning of our country, since beginning of printing press. Facebook should be held accountable and do whatever they can but should not be the one put up on a pedestal and thrown rocks at because theres lies out there in the media. Theres lies out everywhere and they have been around since we had media. The separate issue of libra is issue of solvency. That to me is important. This dog and pony show was a distraction and a waste of time. I think a decentralized platform like libra would make a lot of sense especially as authoritarianism goes around the globe, an interesting play. Not everyone can use the dollar in a free way we want it. David if zuckerberg combines that with his billion plus but hes not there just to make money. David if you believe that, ive got a bridge in brooklyn. President trump announcing what he hopes will be a permanent ceasefire in syria, but can we trust turkey after their president struck a deal with Vladimir Putin . We will ask American Islamic forum for presidency president jasser, next. The job of our military is not to police the world. Other nations must step up and do their fair share. Our 18yearold was in an accident. When i called usaa, it was that voice asking me, is your daughter ok . Thats where i felt relief. Were the rivera family and we plan to be with usaa for life. See how much you can save with usaa insurance. See how much you can save performance comes in lots of flavors. dramatic orchestra theres the ampedup, overtuned, feedingfrenzyof sheetmetalkind. And then theres performance thats the. Im part of a community of problem solvers. We make ideas grow. From an everyday solution. To one that can take on a bigger challenge. From packaging tape. To tape that can bond materials to buildings. And planes. One idea can unlock a breadth of solutions. At 3m, we are solving problems that improve lives. Early this morning, the government of turkey informed my administration that they would be stopping combat and their offensive in syria and making the ceasefire permanent. I have therefore instructed the secretary of treasury to lift all sanctions imposed on october 14th, so the sanctions will be lifted, unless something happens that were not happy with. David President Trump announcing turkey will stop attacking the kurds in syria. The president now lifting economic sanctions that have been imposed on turkey for the moment. Joining us is former Lieutenant Commander in the u. S. Navy and founder of the American Islamic forum for democracy. Great to see you. So im wondering whether or not we can trust turkey when they just made a deal yesterday with the russians. Yeah, there are a number of reasons, david, we cant trust turkey. Yeah, they have been close to iran, not only putin. This was obviously planned ahead, wasnt something they threw together in five days. Not to mention the radicalization of the isis and rebels in syria has been driven by the turkish jihadists, the Muslim Brotherhood type army, they not only cant be trusted they are on the other side of equation. Their soldiers were videotaping jihadi type videos killing kurds and committing war crimes on video while they were doing this. They are not an ally. I worry about them month torg areas. Monitoring areas. They let 100 isis loose so the threat has increased. The crescent of iran through syria with assad into lebanon is now stronger than ever, and russia is much more of a major power player in the middle east than it was a week ago. Thank you for joining us, sir. Thank you as always for your service. When you start a fire and then put that fire out, you are not a firefighter, you are an arsonist. So the president spiking the football here, im not sure why thats being done. Its obviously what president s do. If you look at what putin has done in syria, when he got into syria, it wasnt to help assad, he wanted the port in the mediterranean. He got that, a 49 year lease. He has a pipeline under turkey. He wants those oil fields in northern syria. This seems to play into putins hands, doesnt it . Let me address two things you mentioned. First of all, give the president the credit he planned on pulling troops out. How he did it was impulsive. I think we could have gotten eu troops to provide that buffer and not destroy the kurds which really happened and allowed turkey to do that. We will fulfill every Conspiracy Theory if it ends up being our policy that somehow were going to go in there to protect oil, a when we dont need it economically, we are now an oil exporter as it was said earlier in the program, but b, its not what were doing. We werent in iraq for. That we will fulfill conspiracy theories. It will use to radicalize muslimers in the area. Muslims in the area. There are far other greater reasons to prevent jihadists, isis, al qaeda to push back iran which is what we should be doing and talking about. The president would say, look, you know, it is not our problem, that were not going to risk american blood for these wars that are going to go on, you know, until tend of time until the end of time. We shouldnt be over there, and if the oil is not important, and i hate to, you know, i hate to say it because sometimes the oil has been important and we have been in places because theres a strategic resource this, not to concede the conspiracy theories but thats somewhat still the reality of the world. If the oil doesnt matter, they are going to fight with each other, walk us through why we should be there in your view. Yeah, and again, it doesnt have to be men on the ground. I think we need some intel with allies like the kurds, like lebanon, saudi arabia, egypt, etc. , those we can trust. The reason we need to be there is isis commits acts in istanbul, in europe, in america and they are radicalizing people every day. Russia has radicals that send all over the world. He doesnt want isis either. Thats what he says and yet the play book, the exportation of rebels into syria, shipping al qaeda into iraq to kill our troops to kill kurds and others they use terrorism to legitimize tyranny. They are not really in this for the long game against terrorism. Only the free world is. And at the end of the day, we cant forget about israel. Why are we there . Israel is surrounded by more and more radicalized nations and to think we can just leave and somehow iran is pushing on the door, lebanon right now is having huge demonstrations and is becoming more and more unstable, we dont want them to fall to become another client state of iran, we need to have a presence there to maintain the peace as we do in so many places in the world where our troops are there but they are not fighting wars. They are simply maintaining peace. David i wish we could have you here for an hour. Weve run out of time, a medical doctor as well as all the other accolades we were throwing his way. Thank you very much for being here. Good to see you. Thank you. David take another look at shares of tesla, now up 17 1 4 after hours. This is an extraordinary gain, this after it beat earnings and revenue. The automaker also reporting record vehicle production. That might have actually been more important and deliveries and said it is ahead of schedule in the production of model y, now expected to launch by summer of next year and ahead of schedule at its giga factory in shanghai. This is going to be one stock to watch tomorrow, but right now, its up 17 . Microsoft beating on both earnings and revenue, with a 21 increase in profits from last quarter, driven by the strength of its cloud business. The stock is pretty much flat, after hours, but again, good news for them on the earnings front. Well republican law makers barging into a closeddoor session on impeachment. What exactly happened . We will ask fox news senior capitol hill producer. Hes here next. Hes raring to go. What is adam schiff trying to hide . I think thats a question so many people have, so many of my colleagues have, so many people in the press should have is through those hidden closed doors over there, adam schiff is trying to impeach a president. And i recently had hi, ia heart attack. It changed my life. But im a survivor. After my heart attack, my doctor prescribed brilinta. Its for people who have been hospitalized for a heart attack. Brilinta is taken with a lowdose aspirin. No more than 100 milligrams as it affects how well brilinta works. Brilinta helps keep platelets from sticking together and forming a clot. In a clinical study, brilinta worked better than plavix. Brilinta reduced the chance of having another heart attack. Or dying from one. Dont stop taking brilinta without talking to your doctor, since stopping it too soon increases your risk of clots in your stent, heart attack, stroke, and even death. Brilinta may cause bruising or bleeding more easily, or serious, sometimes fatal bleeding. Dont take brilinta if you have bleeding, like stomach ulcers, a history of bleeding in the brain, or severe liver problems. Slow heart rhythm has been reported. Tell your doctor about bleeding new or unexpected shortness of breath any planned surgery, and all medicines you take. If you recently had a heart attack, ask your doctor if brilinta is right for you. My heart is worth brilinta. If you cant afford your medication, astrazeneca may be able to help. Im gathered here with dozens of my Congressional Colleagues underground in the basement of the capitol because behind those doors they intend to overturn the results of an american president ial election . We want to know whats going on. David republican lawmakers storming a closeddoor session on impeaching President Trump or so were told. Here now is fox news senior capitol hill producer who loves this stuff. What actually went on here . Well, laura cooper who is a pentagon official was scheduled for a closeddoor deposition early this morning, because these members, these republican members who are not on the intelligence oversight and Foreign Affairs committee, they ran into the room and basically adam schiff, the chairman of the Committee Said you cant be here, which is true. Thats the house rules. If youre not on a committee, you cant be there. You know, except with the blessing of the committee chairman. That basically delayed laura coopers testimony till about 3 30 this afternoon. She is testifying under a subpoena. Here was the other problem with this. You know, a lot of those members who arent on those committees took in their electronic devices, cell phones and so on. Thats a secure area. Its a sensitive compartment alized information facility. Scif is the term of art. They are not allowed to be in there with them. A message was sent to the house sergeant of arms this afternoon who said this unprecedented breach of security raises serious concerns for committee chairmen. I urge you to remind all members about dangers of such reckless behavior. Yeah, look, i mean, nancy pelosi could take a vote. Shes not taking a vote. Chad, i assume thats because she doesnt have the votes. I mean, because wouldnt it help clear everything up, and you dont have to pontificate that, but i certainly will, i think it would clear things up if they came out and put their money where their mouth is and followed some kind of precedent, i mean when you think about bill clinton, when you think about richard nixon, there is some precedent in the history books, right, and you usually have a vote with an impeachment inquiry. And she just doesnt have the votes to do it. Now you have this chaos. Its thought that she would have the votes to do that. About 225, 226 democrats who would support opening up a formal impeachment inquiry. That would start to formalize the process so everybody on both sides of the aisle would know where this is going. The problem they are getting into here is that you have these three committees looking at this now, inevitably whenever that comes, they will send this over to the house judiciary committee, and they will write the articles of impeachment. Everybody thinks thats when they will start to get a little more solidification of what the process is because they will take testimony and they will actually write up those articles of impeachment. Chad, i just want to press this to all the viewers who love me, im for a transparent process. I have said that many times. A couple things i think we have to be clear, one, theres pretty much 50 republicans and democrats asking these subpoenaed witnesses questions. I mean, i think it is like a plus one. So both sides are in those meetings asking questions. Number two, just to quote Chris Stewart of utah, who is a republican in these committee meetings, he was very clear, that closeddoor nature of impeachment proceedings are consistent with house rules. He came out very clearly that this is not actually off based on normalcy thats what he said who is in the meetings. Right, and thats the issue right now because only Intelligence Committee members and staff from that committee are asking the questions. Foreign affairs and oversight can be in the room. And this is the problem, whether youre dealing with an issue in the west or impeachment, if one Committee Says were going to do it this way and were going to have certain witnesses in for hearings or were going to take testimony or closeddoor depositions, it is up to that committee chair, and generally members of congress are pretty respectful of that because it maybe theirs tomorrow. David chad, im getting wrapped. I have to ask quickly, john boltons name kept coming up in the testimony of ambassador taylor yesterday. Is he going to testify . We asked adam schiff that a couple of days ago, unclear, but ive been told they are narrowing the universe of witnesses and should start to go down next week or the week after. David fascinating, thank you chad. A new hope for patients and families dealing with alzheimers. Dr. Siegel will tell us everything we need to know about this. Thats next. I get it all the time. Have you lost weight . Of course i have ever since i started renting from national. Because national lets me lose the wait at the counter. And choose any car in the aisle. And i dont wait when i return, thanks to drop go. At national, i can lose the wait. And keep it off. Looking good, patrick. I know. vo go national. Go like a pro. Theres new hope now that nearly 6 million americans who are living with alzheimers drugmaker biogen announcing it will seek approval by the fda for aducanumab. The company said earlier this year that initial results for that drug were ineffective and halted the studies, but shares of biogen soaring on the news that they are rethinking this. It is up 27 so far this week. Here with us now is fox news medical correspondent dr. Marc siegel. In the past it was considered ineffective. Now effective. Whats the difference . Heres whats going on, david, theres a protein that clogs the brain in alzheimers called beta amyloid it makes plaques in the brain. This drug targets that protein. It is targeted therapy. If it targets the protein, by the time its already built up in the brain, it is already too late. The question is can it be used early enough . Were having more and more diagnostic tests, pet scans and blood tests that tell us that on the road to alzheimers, before you even vishave it, theres a place for this drug, early on. The reason now that biogen is getting another look at it and why i predict the fda will approve it it is because they found higher doses of it work better. They are going to reveal the full data in december. They wouldnt be saying this if this wasnt going to happen. All i will say is this is great news because we have an aging population. More people are living over the age of 85. I thought the number was 30 of our aging population has some sort of alzheimers or dementia. You said it is near 50 . Some kind of impairment. The idea that i mean, talking about costs is just going to go how many years in advance do you need to get the drug, though . Well, thats a really good question, and i would say i want to bring up a term called mild cognitive impairment. On the road to alzheimers, 5 to 10 million or more have it in advance. I would say five years in advance, somewhere around five years in advance of alzheimers. You can test for that . Great point, trish, because of imaging studies. We can now study the brain and start to see those plaques forming before they fully form. Do you think at the age of 80, people should start taking this prophylactically . No, genetically we can say who is more prone and who isnt. The plaques interfere with the brain cells communicating with each other so memory is lost. John layfield . Somebody who played professional football and wrestled for decades, this sounds good to me. Youre pretty sharp. So far. Where are we on the detection time line . The most important thing as far as alzheimers and dementia, dealing with the disease before they have it, where is the medical community on detection in actually the pet scans over the last two years that literally target alzheimers proteins are now being used. The blood tests, what i call the biomarker is a couple years away. Five years from now, were going to be five years in advance like trish was saying were going to be there. Wow. Thats where this drug comes in and thats where vaccines against the alzheimers plaque come in. It is really exciting. Let me ask you about something else, measles, theres concern in california that tens of thousands of people may have potentially been exposed because i guess somebody was visiting disney land went to a starbucks. Tell us whats happening there and people should be on the lookout for the issue here is that measles is brought in from other countries and now because of lack of vaccine compliance it is starting to take a foothold. Heres how contagious measles is, if you go into a room where measles has been two hours before, it simply was in the room, the person leaves, you have a 90 chance of contracting measles. David wow. If you simply enter a room where measles was and you werent vaccinated. Get vaccinated. Whats the protocol for Something Like this when disneyland finds out . Donald trump inherit hed a Strong Economy from barack and me. Things are beginning to move. Just like everything he is e inherited, hes in the midst of squadering it. We need to build an economy that reflects our values. Im going to start by reversing the trump tax cuts for the super wealthy and corporations. David former Vice President joe biden in pennsylvania today pitching his economic agenda and again claiming credit for the Economic Growth under President Trump. A new National Poll showing biden now has a 15 point lead over second place Elizabeth Warren. This is the largest margin since late april, but some say it is not enough, according to reports, from both the New York Times and the Washington Post Democratic Party leaders are worried there are quote no viable candidates currently running that they can support. So robert, what do you make of these reports . I was at some of these dinners that everyone is talk ig about. One i dont think it is accurate. Im glad joe is talking about the economy. I think more candidates need to speak about the economy. We have polarizing party. 40 populist. 40 moderate and 20 we dont know which way. Not surprising, looking at the numbers combine warren and bernie, you have 40 . Combine biden and buttigieg, 40 . Were concerned as a party that this could be a very long primary season which it does not help i think a democrat if we want he or she to be the next president. You dont think he really would reverse those tax cuts for corporations because, you know, last time i checked, lower taxes has actually resulted in some Economic Growth; right . Were looking at a pretty good pretty Strong Economy right now. So why would he want to undo that . I think thats a fair point to have a debate on. I dont think trickle down economics has really worked. I actually think the tax cut worked for some areas of our country but not for others. Manufacturing, you could argue were going into a recession. Robert, we have 3. 5 unemployment. Thats great. Not squandering an economy. Im all for that. Minorities are magnificent. Wages have been going up. Give this president his due at this point in time. But look, for me, the reason why bidens numbers are going up because just listen to sanders and warren, the complete confiscation of everybodys wealth over time. Bernie sanders is calling for 8 wealth confiscation, 12 years going to be out of money. Ive got news for you, bermuda and bahamas and every other country will be running ads here to get people to go over there. The wealthy are planning to get out if their poll numbers go up. I want to be clear, im for the economy being incredibly strong. I can solve all of this right now. I saw on twitter earlier that two very important people that me and Gary Kaltbaum endorse robert wolf for president. Thats two votes. [laughter] i still believe somebody is going to jump in race. I think it is made for a clinton kind of race late in 92. I think somebody is going to jump in. What about money . Theres no question that Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders have crushed it on the grassroots donors. David can biden make it up . You dont have to make it up to compete that way. You have to have enough to compete. He has north of 10 million david long way to go before the election. Are we having fun yet .
