First i would say that the president is by far not only campaigning on the bidens, i would say it is not being mentioned enough. The president talking about his record. This is part of a referendum on his record. He has done a tremendous job growing our economy but the biden story cannot be ignored. It is not just because of the implications for the next four years. Crimes may have been committed in our country by the biden family and by his son pedaling access for whatever his reasons were. We know all the state, foreign oligarchs, kleptocrats you mentioned from other countries this is sell being access to our country and the white house. That could be a crime so that needs to be investigated for the integrity of our entire system of government. Elizabeth you know the debate is coming thursday night. The Trump Campaign objected about the mute button. Theyre objecting that the debate is not traditionally customarilily about Foreign Policy. It will be about National Security. Senators ron johnson and senator lankford said that the fbi should debrief the senate on the National Security concerns over the biden story. How should the president handle this at the debate on thursday night . The way that the entire debate situation has evolved this year has been very disappointing and i say that as a republican. I know republicans agreed to this format but never again should we agree to let the left and liberal reporters control this process. Cutting off the president potentially which is what the democrats apparently want to do during this important last debate is terrible. We need to be hearing from each of these candidates what their vision is. So in terms of that question regarding briefing the senate, yes, the fact that a person close to the Vice President was selling access to the white house and in fact we see photographs with some very shady foreign characters with joe biden in different locations, we need to get to the bottom of that, in terms of disinformation, yes, i am concerned that foreign governments are targeting family members of the, of the bidens, the potential future president. All of that needs to be briefed. If the debate moderator will not ask the important questions on everybodys mind, i am confident that the president is going to throw those questions and put joe biden to the test. They have not yet to deny the validity of the emails, when you see this coming from letter, signed by obama era intelligence officials like john brennan and james clapper, when you see those stories out there do you that there is any way the media will push further on this story to get to the bottom of what happened with joe biden and his family . Well, no, i dont expect the media to push harder because the media gets its talking points from the very people that betrayed their oath to our country. I say that not lightly but the very same people are saying oh, my god russian disinformation, they said the same thing about President Trump, they said it knowing that was not true. Why would he be surprised they are saying this . Im just a simple country lawyer, elizabeth in a courtroom, somebody coming with an affidavit signed like 50 people with no personal knowledge, the judge would throw that out as totally incompetent. It is not evidence of anything other than their bias and their support for joe biden and willingness to do it by any means necessary. But the most shocking thing here is how big tech has suppressed truthful reporting on this very scandal and it may be too late for this senate and this congress to do anything about it boy, what a missed opportunity if were not able to hold them accountable for lying to the American People that way. In our proud history in the United States, im a First Amendment lawyer, journalists have been responsible for getting to the bottom of some major coverups in our country, major crimes, pollution issues, abuse of children, abuse of human beings in trafficking. Why are they abdicating their responsibility and their tremendous power in this critical time . Shouldnt we all like to know if there are members of any political family in the United States who have been compromised . If there are politicians running for the highest office in our country who have taken bribes . That is the allegation. Not to put a fine point on it. Let thugs or criminals or crooks into the white house or into his orbit, done favors for them almost certainly seems to be the case for the burisma situation . What was your reaction on the story . My reaction it was a political act. It was not really an act of professionalism objective. Lets analyze the documents. Now lets look at the Vice President s calendar. Ah, there is something here that just doesnt seem right and it looks like it is russian disinformation. So i think it was an act in the Political Campaign and they should be ashamed and they should simply say, look, lets find out. Lets track it down. There are ways of doing that. Lets get the job done. Elizabeth you know Glen Greenwald at the intercept, has been saying that the cia, nsa, are manipulating the American People, putting anonymous information, anonymously sourced information into stories saying this is russian disinformation when providing no proof of that. Dni ratcliff says no proof of that. The conclusion where the mind comes to rest. It is russian disinformation, lets not look into that. Lets continue to not verify the story. Is that looks what is going on . It appears to me. Dont bother me with the fact information. I see inconvenient facts or may be facts. The call should be lets investigate, lets find out, is it authentic or is it not . As it was just said if it is disinformation, there are people committing crimes. Certainly civil actions are appropriate but from what little ive seen, and we have not seen all that much, there are a lot of i would call it indicia of reliability. Im not saying jump to a conclusion but there are certain indicators this should be taken seriously. Instead of being dismissed out of hand. So i strongly disagree with the idea, well, it is russian disinformation. Lets bury our heads in the sand. Elizabeth yeah, because if you dont dig into it, if you dont you know, if it is russian disinformation thats a crime. That is election medaling. That should be pursued. If you leave it hanging out there as russian disinformation and you just let it go at that, then you can disis in the story as unverified, unproven and undercut it. It looks like it could be very close to that and instead of again shouting we dont want to look at this why dont we hear the shout, were interested in the facts . Lets step back and say there are people on the beat, there are cops on the beat, i dont know what the fbi is doing, i dont know what the other parts of the Intelligence Community are doing but we do know in the fourth estate, in the media there are truth seekers.
