It is a huge departure from election day markets. Best election day performance since 2008. Dow industrials up 555 point 2 and nasdaq up 203 and s p high or by 58, one and three quarters percent. We have a pretty good tone in the asian markets from the moment the markets opened last night as you can see the worst performer hong kong down a fraction and japan up one and three quarters percent on nikkei average now top stories were watching this morning. President trump declaring and speaking from the white house hours ago the president hinted white house would push the Supreme Court to rule over the disputed ballots. Warning that, quote, it is a very sad group of people trying to disenfranchise voters and the country. Biden campaign releasing statement just after that saying in part donald trump does not decide the outcome of the election. Joe biden does not decide the outcome of this election. The American People decide the outcome of this election. And the democratic process must and will continue until its conclusion. Joe biden leads Electoral College vote 238 to 213 but, of course, we are waiting for tee race results in pennsylvania, North Carolina, georgia, michigan, and wisconsin. Lets turn to house and senate races they have another bounce of power change there is. Fox news can confirm the democrats will remain in control of the house. Now we know that the majorities of the ballots coming in from register democrats those are majorities of the mailin ballots which is why republicans went for a huge push for an election day turnout. This is a fraud on the american public. This is an embarrassment to our country. We remember getting ready to win this election, frankly, we did win this election. Last night you started to hear some nervousness from the Biden Campaign about Battle Grounds states of pennsylvania, ohio, texas, and florida. Heres the campaign manager. Listen. We dont need to win them and thats a true luxury we dont need to win any of the four big states in order to still get to 270 electoral votes. We know that texas, ohio, and florida falling for President Trump on the senate side as you said it looks like republicans will retain control of the u. S. Senate. Very close races still oustanding in michigan, and in maine were talking about Susan Collins very close margin. But she is up just slightly in that on the house side as you said, the house is going to stay democrat. I mean, look, you know there was a lot of talk about the blue wave right this was going to be the blue wave and certainly the National Polls and a lot of battleground state polls were giving some indication that didnt turn out to be true, in fact, republicans overperformed in the senate. They overperformed in the house actually picked up seats in the house. Drurp won florida by, you know, twice as much three times as much actually than he won in 2016 and now were down to situation where, you know, hes got ab 680,000 vote lead in pennsylvania. Which is pretty substantial. Theres still over a million democratic votes shouldnt say democratic votes but mailin ballots that remain to be counted. Those are going to going to lean heavily towards joe biden. But still thats an awful steep climb i think Trump Campaign feels pretty good about where they are in pennsylvania. So it will come down to michigan, you know or wisconsin and i think were going to be in recount territory i think it is going to be messy a real fight to play out over next coming days. It is a dog fight prior to real clear mr. Speakers average had joe biden up by 7 points of impact as we get more and more results is this looking like a repeat of 2016 which would you expect we have definitive answers in michigan, in wisconsin . Well, theyre going to be counting their mailin ballots going to take a couple of days pennsylvania says theyll be done by friday so i would hope that we would have something by then. People are saying that, you know, wisconsin, michigan could be, you know, counted and declared as early as, you know, this morning. Maybe by the end of today just depends on how this shakes out it looks like joe biden picked up a bunch of votes overnight in wisconsin. And is taking a very slim lead there. So well have to wait to see it is going to be it is going to be a dicey few days as both get counted nip and tuck a lot of states trump is looking pretty good in michigan. His campaign is looking pretty good feeling pretty good about where they stand right there but again a lot of votes to be counted in that state including some in and around detroit area lean heavily towards joe biden. Yeah. You know hundreds of millions of dollars spent in kentucky, in South Carolina, in texas, all for not. For the democrats, right . Look the big race i think, this is a thing donald trump basically turned out the vote. It turned out the vote in North Carolina and got thom tillis over finish line turned out vote in iowa got joni over finish line there. You know, he turned out the vote and got steve gaines over the finish line in massachusetts. It is going to be a very, very ironic situation if republicans keep control of the senate. And actually pick up seats in the house based on what donald trump did in the final days of this campaign and then if he does not prevail at the tom of the tiblght if donald trump loses, you know there will be a lot of republicans who will owe him a great deal of thanks because he really did get massive turnout across this country for republican candidates up and down ballot. I think you brought up one of the real critical points that is markets like clarity whether trump wins election or biden at the end of the day they want to know what the rules of the game are. They want to know what taxing structure will look like regulatory structure going to look like and i think what were seeing right now at least with the futures are, is trump is known quantity and fact that the Senate Looks Like it is going stay republican is huge. Because about even if biden were to squeak in, they would angt as a buffer as a control on any wacko legislation that might come out of the democrats. Yeah. I mean going into this as markets were rallying before the election, wall street firms were trying to put a face on a good fashion on stimulus, i mean, i cant believe that this market would rally because were going to get massive spending programs should joe biden win the presidency. I would much i was siding with, you know, much more that investors were thinking maybe clarity we talk to pin point why markets have been up for two Straight Days in triple digits. But what do you think . Do you think that markets could actually rally because were going to see huge spending programs . If you look at the polling data you saw race that are rogue over last couple of days, i think investors in general starting to get a little bit of a sense that this might go other way. And then certainly a lot of people on wall street were trying to make this argument that if the democrats were to sweep that we would have this just this ginormous massive stimulus package out of the democratic side of the fence there. But theres no free lunch and such a spending measure would be accompany by a taxing measure to pay for it. So trying to play this as democratic sweep would be really positive i find that one really hard to believe. It is not positive. At all with the democratic sweep i totally agree. The october jobs report out meanwhile this friday lets talk fundamental regardless of where this goes economists are compting 600,000 job added to economy last month for the month of october theyre expecting Unemployment Rate to tick down. What do you expect from the jobs number this friday, and what do you say about the back drop in terms of the economy right here . But what were also seeing is that it is starts to slow down because ppp money run out for most part and Major Companies out there have said you know what, we cant hold on any longer. So youre seeing Small Business owners that are shutting doors youre seeing Large Companies going were going to have to start laying people off so you have a seesaw starting to pick up steam and starting to grow but flipside of it is its mostly unemployment side xans are holding on with their fingertips so we do need stimulus to come in here. But it must be very targeted this cannot be helicopter money with trillions of dollars just being spread through the sky. Yeah.
