BEMIDJI -- A date has been set to conclude the city of Bemidji's election season that began in spring 2020. On Feb. 9, 2021, the city will hold a special election to determine who will hold the at-large seat through 2022. The seat was vacated in summer 2020 when Jim Thompson, who was elected in 2018, resigned because of health reasons.
