Feds charge 20 with weapons, drug violations

U.S. Attorney Adair F. Boroughs, together with federal, state, and local law enforcement officials, announced Saturday that 20 individuals were charged in federal court in connection with firearms-trafficking, narcotics, conspiracy, or other firearms offenses after a targeted violent crime reduction initiative in West Columbia. The indictments are a result of a series of coordinated arrests made following a targeted multi-agency operation that spanned several months.
