A TEENAGER has been given the chance to study at a prestigious music school. Max Cornelius, 17, from Kelvedon, has an offer to study at Leeds Conservatoire, previously known as Leeds College of Music. The college provides expert education in music and performing arts, with performance-based courses to help prepare students for a career in music, performance and production. Max, who is currently a music scholar at Felsted School, said the news is “hugely exciting”. He said: “As a flautist, it would be wonderful to study the flute to a different level, being able to play more advanced pieces suited to my preferred genre of romantic music, as well as being able to delve far more in-depth into the study of music than covered in A Level.
