The two main weather stories today are going to be the heat and a chance for some strong storms. We’ll start with the storms. A complex of storms is expected to slide south across eastern Kansas and far western Missouri later this afternoon and this evening. The timing on these storms is still in question, but right now, it looks like they will move through the western parts of the area between 3 and 10 p.m.
