The certificates intend to allow for non-essential travel through the EU with proof of vaccination, a negative Covid-19 test or recovery from virus infection.
The some 2million people who have received their full jabs will be first to get their EU Digital Covid-19 Certificates  - previously called Digital Green Certificate - this week by email or post.
