First Nations Health Authority teams up with local company to deliver vaccines SHARE ON: Yellowhead Helicopter (Photo by Yellowhead Helicopters) The First Nations Health Authority is teaming up with Yellowhead Helicopters to send COVID-19 vaccines to remote communities under difficult conditions. So far, Yellowhead pilots have delivered vaccine shipments to a multitude of northern communities including Fort Nelson, Takla, and Gitanmaax during the first dose clinics. Pilots are standing by once again to bring vaccines to Northern communities during the second dose program. “Yellowhead Helicopters has been a strong and reliable partner in the safe and timely delivery of vaccines to our communities. They show with their actions that they care,” said Julie Morrison, Acting Executive Director of the FNHA Northern Region.
