Premium Content Subscriber only After a challenging year of remote learning and being the first Queensland Year 12 cohort to navigate the ATAR system, Sunshine Coast students had their hard work pay off. Out of the more than 26,000 Queensland students who received an ATAR, only 30 achieved a rank of 99.95 - the highest possible score. Matthew Flinders student Justin Holland was one of only 30 QLD students to receive the highest ATAR score possible. It has been revealed that several of those students are from the Coast, as schools from around the region begin to release their results. The data is based on the results of students who chose to share their ATAR with their schools.
