(Katy Kildee/kkildee@mdn.net) After spending half of the year going through the courts, the Four Lakes Task Force's acquisition of Boyce Hydro properties is moving forward. On Monday, Judge Daniel Opperman of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan granted a motion allowing the FLTF to acquire the title to the Boyce Hydro properties through condemnation. FLTF is the delegated authority working on behalf of Midland and Gladwin counties to oversee the dams and lakes along the Tittabawasee River system.
