A statement said: "As a precautionary measure, Lactalis Nestlé Chilled Dairy UK is voluntarily recalling the above product with the specific use by date 13/02 and 14/02 due to a strong unpleasant salty taste caused by an ingredient which is part of the normal composition but that has been overdosed in the production of these batches.
"Return the top of the pot lid with this Use By date for a full refund to: Freepost Nestle UK Consumer Services, Nestle Milkybar Little Treats Recall, PO BOX 205, YORK, YO91 1XY."
When a fault is spotted with a product, it can be "recalled" or "withdrawn".
