Article content With funds from the federal government beginning to dry up, the United Way in Huron and Perth counties is using donations from the community to support three affordable food programs that have been essential to the region’s pandemic response. The not-for-profits behind the programs include the Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre, a regional hub used by food local banks and other community organizations; One Care Home and Community Support Services, the operators of a grocery delivery service for area seniors; and the Community Table, a food hamper organized by a Pentecostal congregation in Exeter.
