Former Saskatchewan RCMP officer charged with first-degree murder granted bail

Justice Gary Meschishnick made the custody decision after a bail hearing at Prince Albert Court of Queen's Bench.
Bernie Herman, a 32-year member of the RCMP, was serving with the Prince Albert Traffic Services Unit at the time of his arrest.
The RCMP has said the former corporal resigned effective June 1.
Herman, who is 53, has pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial hearing is to start the week of Dec. 13. (paNOW)
