The Bryan Times has lost one of its own. Don Koralewski, 63, who served The Bryan Times as executive editor from September 2016 through December 2019, passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, from cancer and other health issues. His death is not attributed to COVID-19. Don was a Toledo native (Woodward High School) and a father, brother and a very devoted husband to his wife of 23 years, Nelda, who preceded him in death on Dec. 19, 2019. He earned a bachelorâs degree in broadcast communications from the University of Toledo and was a skilled photojournalist who also studied fine arts at Oho University and public communication and photojournalism at Syracuse University.
