A saliva testing site is open today at the Worthington Event Center. 11:15 am, Feb. 1, 2021 × REGIONAL — Four of the six counties in far southwest Minnesota reported no new COVID-19 cases in testing during the 24-hour period that ended at 4 p.m. Sunday. Nobles and Pipestone counties each reported one new case. Those with no new cases included Cottonwood, Jackson, Murray and Rock counties. Statewide, there were 727 new cases of COVID-19 during the 24-hour period, along with two deaths. The deaths included one individual who lived in a private residence, and the other was a resident of a long-term care or assisted living facility.
