For trace gallagher. Its 6 00 a. M. In gaza. This is our continuing breaking News Coverage of the war in israel on americas late news fox news night. Breaking moments ago, the united stations says its been informed by Israeli Military officials that 1. 1 million palestinians in order of wadih gaza should relocate to Southern Gaza in the next 24 hours. That would appear to be a major indication that the hundreds of thousands of israeli troops currently stationed at the bored corps move in very s border could move in very soon for a Ground Invasion aimed at eliminating hamas. Israel will keep the Lights November G lights off in gaza and block aid to palestinians until engagement begins. Lets begin with greg palkot, live on the ground in israel. Good evening, greg greg hey, jonathan yes some striking news you were just quoting. Im looking at the Reuters News Agency giving that information about the word that reportedly israel is giving the u. N. That the. 1 million palestinians in the north side, the north end of gaza strip need to go to the south end. Whats that mean . Is this just talking . Just to alarm palestinians and hamas militants even more . Does it mean theyre going to increase their bombardment of gaza or does it mean as you suggested a Ground Incursion as weve been seeing build up here, the army build up on this side of the gaza strip could be in the offing . I got to tell you, jonathan, weve been here on the ground about three or four days and this is the most intense night of aerial bombardment we have seen from the Israeli Air Force. Theyve been trying again and again. Were just theyve been striking again and again. Were just up the coast from the gaza strip. We can hear it and see the glow on the horizon. Sometimes the bombs have been coming every five minutes or so something was different tonight. Thats why i treat this report from the Reuters News Agency with a little bit more seriousness than if i wasnt here and seeing what was going on there with my own eyes, our own eyes. Weve been seeing Tens Of Thousands of reservists being mobilized and motivated to get into the fight. Lets just back up a little bit. The numbers have been going up as well in gaza strip. The Palestinian Death toll is estimated to be around 1,500 civilians caught in the crossfire. In israel, from the bloody massacre of the hamas militants on saturday, now, its believed that 1,300 people have died in israel and 150 held hostage. We on thursday put a face to those numbers. We went to the funeral of a 22yearold lady who was at the Music Festival that ended up being a massacre thanks to the militants on saturday. Take a look at what we saw and what we heard. Pure, unfiltered, raw emotion. Kim danti hid in the bomb shelter in the festival and died in the blood bath. In attendance, family, friends, loved ones, townspeople coming out to pay their respects to show their love. She was full of life, very happy, very intelligent. She just wanted to do everything good in her life. She just went to a party and never came home because those people just murdered them in cold blood without any chance. She was an amazing girl with a big smile, always showing love to everyone. When she was there, everything was a little bit better. Greg jonathan, that sad news just underscoring the very, very high stakes options that are opening up tonight as we wrap up day six of israels war on hamas. Well see what develops in the next 24 hours and more. Back to you. Jonathan greg, thank you very much. Back to you over the next couple of hours for any Breaking News, and i want to point out the live shot we have there of gaza city if we can just show that jeff poole, one of our reporters here, very experienced himself in the middle east, was just pointing out how much darker the skyline of gaza city is tonight than it was just 24 hours ago as the power literally goes out in gaza. In the meantime, the american death toll has risen to at least 27 as a result of those hamas Terrorist Attacks and there are fears that that number could climb. Jeff now live with more on that and what the u. S. Is doing to evacuate americans from israel. Good evening, jeff. Jeff sadly, that number has risen. Sits at 27 americans killed. Those that remain unaccounted for went down from 17 where its at yesterday and now sits at 14. Whats unclear is how many of those who were currently missing are being held hostage by hamas. The National Security council as john kirby says the u. S. Is working with not only israel but allies in the region like qatar. President biden says hes not giving up home in bringing home americans but divulging details about specific plans would be bizarre. Large number of americans are in israel and are struggling to get home to the u. S. The problem is that many commercial airlines have canceled their flights out. So starting tomorrow, the State Department is offering Charter Flights. The planes will head to european cities offering americans to then catch a connecting flight back to the u. S. John kirby was asked about some reports that indicated americans who are taking these Charter Flights would eventually have to pay the Government Back for tickets. John, i want to talk about the Charter Flights. Are those free of cost to americans . I would defer you to the State Department. Typically they are, but i dont have the details. Theyre still working through the details of how theyre going to coordinate these. Jeff kirby was asked about why military planes arent being used to evacuate americans. They say they tailor their approach based on what is going on inside the country. Jonathan jeff, thank you very much. All right, lets bring in jim, retired Army Lieutenant colonel and Senior Counsel to the president at the Heritage Foundation and doug wachman, professor and director of the ucla center for israel studies. Gentlemen, thank you, both, for being here. Before we start talking, i just want to play some sound from the israeli ambassador to the u. N. Talking on your world earlier today. Here is the israeli ambassador to the u. N. Im not saying there will be a Ground Operation and where. The goal is to obliterate their Terrorist Infrastructure in such a way that these atrocities could not happen again. This is the goal were focused to achieving. Well do whatever is needed. Jonathan and, jim, since the ambassador spoke on your world weve had this word from the u. N. That the Israeli Military is telling all palestinians in the northern end of the gaza strip to go south. Does that strike you as a clear indication a Ground Invasion is coming . Yeah. If the goal is the decimation of the hamas infrastructure in leadership, it is kind of difficult to conceive how that could be done without putting forces in on the ground. One thing the israelis have traditionally done is they really have made a serious effort to minimize civilian casualties and in many ways telegraph where their operations are to give innocence a chance to get out of harms way. Of course, that creates the added problem of youre also kind of alerting your enemy where youre going but this is a decision that the israelis made and traditionally, their operations, they do follow that practice. Jonathan professor wachman, weve seen before, history tells us, 2006, for instance, the israeli army went into the Northern Gaza Strip after the kidnapping of the soldier gilad. Its terribly, terribly difficult. It wont be without israeli casualties. How difficult of a decision is this from president netanyahu . Its a decision hes compelled to make because the israeli public is demanding this. The israeli public are insisting this Military Operation not be a repeat of the previous Military Operations that left hamas in place but this is going to be different, because its necessary to respond to the scale of what hamas has done. So its fraught with risks to Israeli Soldiers, to the hostages that hamas keeps and of course the Palestinian Civilians. I think from Prime Minister netanyahus perspective, he has no choice. Hes typically avoid sending israeli troops in in the past. This time, hes willing to take the gloves off. Jonathan jim, you take the gloves off. You go in on the ground. Youre dealing with hamas, an organization thats just revealed to the world all its appalling brutality. Is Prime Minister netanyahu essentially having to say here, we may lose some of those hostages, because surely hamas is going to carry through with its threat of executing at least some of those hostages if Ground Troops go in . Yeah, so we should unpack that, but we also ought to be clear what is gamechanging here. So before the israelis had to go physically into gaza to clean out a problem and then what happened is they discovered how difficult that is and so they stopped doing that, and the hamas response to that was rockets. So they would pummel israel with rockets to force them to go back in on the ground and, again, to have this situation. So what do the israelis do . They create iron dome and air defense and essentially they take the missiles. What that enables them to do is protect the israeli population and so then the israelis could decide when they needed to escalate. Now what hamas has done is they switched up the game and they found a way to get an attack, israeli innocence on the ground, and, of course, forces this confrontation on the ground. So the Hostage Thing look, this is just very grim what im going to say here first of all, we know this operation took months, if not longer, to plan. So that means they were taking the hostages taking the hostages were preplanned. Itll be very difficult to find them, very difficult to get after them, and, remember, the end stake here is maximum pain for israel so theyll kill the hostages rather than give them upjoup. Jonathan [indiscernible] an 18yearlong quagmire and lebanon was able to withdraw from hezbollah. Theres many dangers of going in. Jonathan i could talk to you both for hours. Well come back to you later. In the meantime, sources are now telling fox news that the u. S. And qatar quietly agreed to refreeze that 6 billion in funds for iran that was previously unfrozen. The Senior National correspondent kevin corke is live in d. C. To explain what exactly is happening with the controversial billions. Kevin . Kevin evening, jonathan . This has been percolating for some time here in washington. Finally today, we have managed a clear understanding of what the administration is attempting to do with this money. Now, early thursday, congressional lawmakers were told iran would no longer have access to the previously frozen 6 billion which as you know had been parked with the qataris for some time. That money which was to be repatriated to the regime in exchange for hostages will now once again be frozen more or less. Its actually been under close supervision and strict conditions, for that matter, the u. S. Demanding it only be used, jonathan, for humanitarian reasons but u. S. Officials, at least right now, arent saying this is a permanent freeze. They obviously say any Cash Dispersement will have to be done on a casebycase basis. Weve always had the option if we wanted it to look at transactions and to make a call about whether we found it valid or not. That has not changed. And even now as you and i are speaking, none of that money has been accessed by anybody. Its still all there. Kevin that move coming after Harsh Criticism by republicans that the administration had given iran a leg up by giving them money they didnt have before. Perhaps they could use the money they had to support hamas. Thats the theory by some. But for now, its effectively frozen, john. Jonathan thank you very much. Lets bring in steve hilton, Fox News Contributor. Steve, Biden Administration has now effectively frozen these funds again, but it seems to have been we seem to be shrouded a little bit in mystery. Why so . Steve its all over the place because theyre so embemembarrassed because whate seeing play out is the appeasement of iran were seeing with this administration from day one. Thats part of it. Theyve been signaling to iran through all sorts of policy moves including the 6 billion in exchange for the hostages they got out. They are desperate for iran to get back in the nuclear deal that they want. Theyll do Anything Bending over backwards to try to persuade them to be The Good Guys when we know from history theyre never The Good Guys and the only way to actually deal with them properly is to stand up to them, to confront them and to show strength whereas what weve seen from biden all along has just been weakness. Jonathan steve, as we talk, were looking at a live shot of gaza city there. You can see The Sun Rising as well as the smoke from explosions that we are told has just happened in the last few minutes as israel continues what is a very intense bombardment. You see another flash there of gaza. Thats gaza city itself being hit once again in these the early hours of friday morning in gaza. We just hearing another explosion again there. Um, steve, um, one thing that also strikes me is the talk weve had on irans complicity in this. Direct involvement . Did they say, go now . Did they train them . Did they get a sign off as was reported in beirut last monday . In the end, does it really matter given that we absolutely know that iran funds hamas . Hamas would not exist without irans patronage. Steve exactly, all the other proxies has bought all of them in that era. We know iran is sponsoring the Terrorist Organizations and directing their activity. For years, thats why it was so stupid and ridiculous for the Biden Administration to try to suck up to iran in the last three years or so, but actually what is really shocking to me is still we have these weasel words from the Biden Administration over irans role. There doesnt seem to be any urgency to try to get to the bottom of it. We saw an incredibly wellsourced report in the Wall Street Journal with specific times and places of meetings where the International Head of the Revolutionary Guard was in beirut coordinating with all of these groups since august to make this happen and for the administration to be so casual about irans role is really disgusting jonathan yep, steve, great to have you here. Well be back to you throughout the next couple of hours. Happening tonight, about two dozen protesters gathered in front of the Capital Jewish Museum in washington d. C. In support of palestinians. Several Police Officers were on site in case of clashes. Meanwhile, security is beefing up in the Nations Capital and elsewhere across the United States as hamas has reportedly called for a worldwide day of jihad on friday. Lowlevel fencing now surrounds the Capitol Building in d. C. Prominent progressives in Congress Like cortez and talib were reportedly briefed by Capitol Police over the threats to them by the Israeli Government. The chief religion correspondent lauren green is live with how the Faith Community is responding. Lauren . Reporter good evening, jonathan. You know, at any one time, there are tens many of them pilgrims from u. S. Churches seeing the scriptures come alive in the holy land. When hamas attacked, many groups were stranded. I mean its its its its just devastating. Reporter Retired Dallas Pastor Reverend george mason traveled to israel last week with a group of multireligious group of christians, jews and muslims to foster peace. When hamas attacked, many groups struggled to find themselves a way out. They were able to flee to jordan. We left jerusalem yesterday morning. Jerusalem was becoming more dangerous. Security had let us know that it was becoming more dangerous and as a matter of fact on our way out of jerusalem, there were more missiles that were striking the iron dome. Reporter now, jerusalem was becoming now, here at home, Franklin Graham youll see there, head of the Billy Graham Association and samaritans purse asked for prayers saying the bible instructs us to pray for the peace of jerusalem psalm 122. He says i pray god will protect them from their enemies. More than 80 evangelical leaders signed a statement in support of israel to defend its
