an
big story
is a
fox
news alert.
Six hostages being held by hamas including an
israeli american
murdered by the terrorists as the idf closed in to rescue them from the
tunnels in rafah tonight thousands
of israelis take to the streets of telaviv in support of the hostage. We have
team coverage tonight.
Fox news
correspondent lucas tomlinson
is at the
white house
with the response from the biden administration. But first fox news chief foreign
correspondent trey yingst
with the demonstrators in telaviv. Reporter: yeah, alyssa, thousands of people have gathered here in the streets of telaviv and across this country calling on their government to reach a
hostage deal
and get the remaining hostages out of gaza. The israeli people woke up to devastating
news today
according to their military, six israeli hostages including one
american citizen
were executed by hamas
inside gaza
as troops closed in. And this was really something that brought so many people to the streets of israel. They are grieving together, they are mourning the loss of their fellow citizens, and again they're calling on the government to reach a deal to get the remaining hostages out of gaza. Remember the people in gaza have been there since
october th
for the past 331 days. They have been held by hamas, their fellow citizens have been calling for their release. But again, after the news overnight, that according to the military, the six hostages were executed by hamas ratcheted up the pressure on the government to reach agreement and get remaining israeli out of gaza there's an understanding that time is running out. And their
loved ones
are waiting for them of we have seen images of
family members
going
gaza border
and calling for release of their
loved ones
yelling their names into gaza desperate to find a way to bring their
sons and daughters
home and that is part of the reason you see so many people in the streets of telaviv and other cities across this
country today.
Demanding that some sort of agreement be reached to get remaining hostages out of gaza. Reunite them with their families and give some
loved ones
closure, that they haven't had since
october 7th
and since that massacre took place on
the morning of black saturday.
Back to you. Alicia: thank you, trey yingst. Now, tonight at the
white house
flags are still not flying at halfstaff for
hirsch goldberg poland
and five other hostages murdered by hamas. Lucas tomlinson is live at the white house
hi lucas.
Reporter: good evening that's right hirsch spent part of the childhood in rich monday that's where youngkin lowered states to halfstaff so far
white house
has not lowered its flags now earlier
president biden
saying in a statement about the murder of the six
hostages including hirsch goldberg,
quote, i am devastated and outraged i've worked tirelessly and heartbroken by the news of his death. It is as tragic as it is reprehensible hamas leaders will pay for these crimes, and will keep working around the clock for a deal to secure the release of the remaining hostages here was president
biden last night in re beach.
On the verge of an agreement how still optimistic because leaders have both led in egypt, people continue to meet and we think we can close a deal. Reporter: the bodies of the six hostages were found in rafah in
southern gaza
here was vice president harris back in march
about rafah.
Any major
military operation
in rafah would be a huge mistake. Let me tell you something, i have studied the maps. There's nowhere for those folks to go. And we're looking at about
a million
and a half people in rafah who are there because they were told to go there most of them. And so we've been very clear that it would be a mistake to move into rafah. Reporter: harris' running
mate minnesota governor
tim walz refused to answer a question about murdered hostages while attending
minnesota state fair.
What's your reaction to the six hostages found dead in gaza?
thanks everybody.
Reporter: president biden, vice
president and secretary
of state spoke to hirsch parents' earlier today to offer their condolences. Alicia. Reporter: thanks for sticking with us tonight did the biden administration's pressure on israel including putting delays on
arm shipments
embolden hamas to kill the
hostages tim cotton
says yes. These hostages were discovered in the
tunnels under rafah
that's where
biden and harris
put
arms embargo
to keep them from entering. To be clear there, of course, is no
arms embargo
it is true that biden administration did halt one shipment of arms out of concern that is not correct. That is not correct. It was in place for many weeks. Of course. They have also argued that u. S. Stands behind israel was one
arm shipment.
You can do your fact check thing all you want i'll tell you real facts it was a large category of weapons far beyond just 2,000 found bombs. Just for the record, joey we'll start with you because in june, senator cotton wrote to
president biden
about the
administration withholding ammo
and weapons we can put that list he was talking about there with christian you've got f15, tactical vehicles you have 100 millimeter and ammunitions small diameter bombs this is a detailed list, and this isn't new information. I guess is my point here, so the back and forth there that found that exchange a little surprising. Joey: it shows you sometimes where the media is playing for a team, and i don't understand always pushback as a journalist always pushback and say actually the record if there's a fact out there but she had no evidence to say actually what she was doing is karim pier's job and when you're talking about that list some of that stuff is pretty basic
squad stuff
like
mortar round
or
assault vehicle.
But the narrative that the administration was putting out to the public at that time was we're not going to send them big bombs because this is a civil area so that alone regardless one shipment or over a period of months that alone shows you how administration was doing one thing saying another. Two senators wrote on
may 6th
to the administration,
tom cotton
wrote on
june 20th
and then
tom cotton
sent another letter on
august 2nd
so this, obviously, was happening for more than just one shipment or few weeks. Alicia: very good point. You know, nicole, the entire country has gotten to know him an american killed and one of the hardest things i think for people watching this is that, not long before his
son ftion
killed his mother was at the border there. Calling out and praying to her son. Let's take a listen. Hersh we are working
day and night
and we will never stop. I need you to know that i am giving you now the blessing i give you every single morning when i pray for you. And every
friday night
i go out on the porch and i put my hands up towards gaza and i give you the blessing may god bless you and keep you.
May god
shine his face upon you. And be gracious to you. Alicia: all we have right now is hope that he heard those words. Obviously, this is devastating i can't imagine what this mother is going through today and since
october 7th
when her son was kidnapped her son is year younger than my oldest son. I can't imagine, this you know the complexity of this situation is profound from a basic level an american has been murdered by a
terrorist organization.
And we keep having these conversations about negotiations and ceasefires but when did the united states get back to a place where we negotiate with terrorists? the u. S. Policy towards hamas needs to evolve in the sense that gaza needs aid to rebuild. Why are we saying we'll give you hundreds of prisoners back and aid now and release hostages right now, very you get nothing? put
maximum pressure
on iran, on turkey on qatar on yemen just like trump and
mike pompeo
did. The united states needs to regain a strong
foot precinct
in the international stage. We are very weak, and it is embarrassing and devastating and people are dying because of it. Alicia: if former president trump was on with
mark levin
he did an interview and he did address the situation in israel. With hamas, but just to be clear he did this before we found about the six hostages. Take a listen. How a jewish person can vote for a democrat but specifically somebody like kamala she wouldn't even meet with bb when he was look he came over the
prime minister
of israel. He's in a war we're heavily invested in that
war preem die,
october 7th
was a who are reask day just horrific and now
people picketing
this saying no such thing ever happened they do that with the holocaust saying there was no holocaust but this one was next to us because we saw it. We saw it. You saw it.
Everybody saw it
they saw it. I don't imagine they aren't
thinking straight.
Alicia: part two of donald trump's interview with
mark levin
airs tonight at 8 p. M. Eastern on life, liberty & levin, and david i want to bring you into this conversation because even though his parents said they weren't being political when they wanted the hostages released something figured out. This is going to federal on the
campaign trail.
Because there is an element of political because politics is a part of this. One administration or one sides view versus the other. First of all this is an administration that couldn't show up, and be there at arlington with
gold star
families for our americans from the
abby gate
this is an administration that doesn't speak to that while kamala harris was in the hamptons with the clintons hosting a fundraiser that evening. That's where she was. Hersh his funeral is at 4 p. M. Tomorrow in jerusalem there's a time and place when they could show up. Will they show up tomorrow? to pay respects for the families no they have a policy that
dupght work.
Hamas gets doesn't get more prisoners they get more soldiers they get more fighters. And there's no way to deal with him in the multiple trips i've taken to israel, the multiple briefings, multiple assessments of the situation, there is no such thing as a
twostate solution.
There's either victory or they will be back. Alicia: we're going to continue this conversation. It is a jampacked hour of the big weekend show. And coming up, this is included.
Joe biden
was sitting on a beach kamala harris was sitting at her mansion in washington, d. C. She was four miles away. Ten minutes she could have gone to the cemetery. Alicia: former president trump gets trashed for honoring heros at arlington national
cemetery but media
covers for harris' no show. Plus making
the american dream of homeownership
available to all people is something we have to do for people who are here now. Alicia: no citizenship no problem. Nancy pelosi slaps her stamp of approval on a
california bill
that gives six
figure house loans
to illegal immigrants, and free speech is on the line as elon musk calls out brazil for
banning x.
But a former
clinton secretary
is
pegging musk
as the tyrant. That's next.

gold star
families outraged tonight because she attacked former president trump's visit to arlington national cemetery to honor their loved ones. A lengthy post on x from the vp this weekend reads in part, quote, let me be clear, the former president disrespected sacred ground, all for the sake of a political stunt. This is nothing new from donald trump this is a man who called our fallen suckers and losers this is a man unable to xrengd anything other than service to himself. The families of the 13 heros killed in the botched
afghanistan withdrawal
then recorded powerful messages calling out kamala harris. I have to stop what i'm doing. Spending time with what's left of my family. To address a heinous, vile, and disgusting post shows you how much you know about the 13 families. Why did we want trump there? it wasn't to help his political campaign. We wanted a leader. That explains why you and joe didn't get a call. We invited president trump. We are the ones that asked for the video, and the pictures to be taken.

President trump has been there for us from the very beginning when our son and other 12 of his
brothers and sisters in arms were murdered due to your negligence, and uncaring attitude towards our military.
Vice president harris, i ask you, why won't you return a call and explain to us how you call my daughterinlaw's death a success.
Vice president harris, why will you not express your condolences yourself? why have we never heard from you? yeah alicia those are
heart h words for the vice president and i watched all of those videos and their anger, their sadness, it is palpable. Alicia: they've already been through so much and to imagine that they're being put through even more pain, and more frustration is actually just heartbreaking especially when you consider that they are saying that they invited him. And democrats and the vice president are treating this situation like it was about trump. And they're putting that on him when the families are saying, actually it was about us. And we wanted him there. Because we're in pain and we don't feel acknowledged to go just one step further here. The vice president felt compelled to put this tweet or this statement out. Right but you've got to wonder why didn't she or someone reach out to these families first? and ask them how they were feeling about this? before putting out there and making it all the more, all the more worgs for them? your take on these joey?
inch people i knew at section 60 i had to walk through a
picket line of
westboro baptist church members telling saying death to the troops he got what he deserved, death to fags, death to service members, all of their signs that's what they put out there. They did it because they know they can sue because they're constitutionally protected to do that in the
public space. I don't remember
president obama going to the
bully pulpit being so upset that i had to roll my wheelchair past people saying hateful things to me to watch my buddy get buried and console his mother and get upset when barriers around the memorials that
world war ii memorials in order to protest sequestration in 2012 that we went and took down one morning and i was a part of that. What i'm getting at here is no, he shouldn't have let his official
photographer and videographer because that is against federal law but why? he did it because he asked them to. Why was he there he was there because he asked them to be there and because this matters. They matter. Those families i've spent time in a green room with those families. I've watched them cry, i've watched them look at me in disgust how they were treating by
president biden talking about their
loved ones that just died saying that he understands how they feel because his
son hunter died in a
hospital bed here in the states they are hurt. They've never been made amends and they wanted someone who might lead this country one day and remember their children to remember that day, and i'm glad he did it.
Senator cotton was on
meet the press earlier this is what he had to say in response to president trump's trip. They wanted president trump there they wanted to take those photos they also
inv biden and kamala
harris joe biden was on a
beach and kamala harris sitting at her mansion in d. C. . Her and
joe biden incompetence 13 americans killed in afghanistan. Yeah. David what do you think? david: i'm with joey in so many ways and i'll add to this. When these families were in the aftermath of this, the biden administration wasn't there just even to make sure members got to andrews. warrior family support when riley's mother needed help i was on the phone with her. When matt's family needed help it was a friend of mine who represented navy went sat down with them in ohio and i can go down the list some of of them left out in the cold by this administration i've been to arlington for a number of ceremonies back there in a month to video

And you're right joey about the pictures and but there's a very those that have lost. Can i add quickly because did say that they were both at the dignified transfer. Hold on a second but that's not true because had to actually issue a correction on they did so on x earlier today. On our broadcast this morning, we incorrectly implied that both president
biden and vice president harris attended deeing if
id transfer of 13 american
service members killed during afghanistan withdrawal. Biden was in attendance. But harris was not. So we'll leave it at that.
Coming up, on the big weekend show, a top democrat wants to give illegal immigrants 150,000 in loans to buy a home. Making
the american dream of homeownership available to all people is something we have to do for people who are here now. this is our last chance to help
save thousands of
holocaust survivors who are suffering in the former
soviet union today. The needs that these forgotten jews have are something beyond anything you can imagine. Have you eaten this morning? i ate the carrot, so i ate half of it yesterday, and i had it today for breakfast. And this is what she ate in two days, one carrot. Please pray for me! the
international fellowship of christians and jews began this ministry to help elderly jews living in horrible poverty around the world. We urgently need your gift of $25 now to help provide one
survival food box with all of the foods they critically need for their diet for one month. It breaks my heart to know that there are
holocaust survivors who suffer to this very day. It's not only the painful memories of lost loved ones, but now with pensions of less than $2 per day, they live in some of the poorest conditions imaginable. I believe in god, but i sometimes feel maybe he forgot me. Perhaps you could tell my story, and i will find a matching soul that would understand. I face hunger again. Please don't delay. Call, scan, or go online now to help rush one
survival food box to a holocaust survivor who is suffering an in desperate need. This is what god wants from us. Just feed the hungry. If you hear god's voice, i'm asking you to act now. Do it when it's on your heart. I pray that they'll know in their final months that they're not alone. [cough] honey. . . Honey. Nyquil severe honey. Powerful

forty five minutes and your act of love can change a child's life forever. Please call, scan or go online to give a new smile. Thousands of children are waiting. joey: welcome back to the big weekend show former
house speak or, nancy pelosi is praising the plan in california that would give illegal immigrants access to
home loans.
Fox news correspondent griff jenkins he's in washington, d. C. Tonight. Reporter: zero money down sounds like a good deal for first time
home buyers but draws criticism because it would be available to those illegal present in the u. S. As well. Former speaker, nancy pelosi, telling
bill maher she likes the idea. Let me just say immigration had always been a bipartisan issue. I refer you to the not free houses. Not free housing it is it's the american dream being available to more people.
California lawmakers passing dream for all
loan program bill providing 20% in
down payment assistants up to $50,000 to first
generation home buyers, and producting california from
disqualifying based on immigration status and they passed it despite california's finance department saying existing program started back in june ran out of money in just 11 days. While pelosi likes the idea she's not sure she would actually vote for it. Vote for this law? well i don't i'm not familiar with exactly what it is. But making
the american dream of homeownership available to all people is something we have to do for people who are here now. Before this is undocumented. For the undocumented well, what i would like to do is move them to documented. It is not a done deal still unclear if
governor gavin newsom will sign this when it hits his desk. In washington
griff jenkins fox news. Joey: david, i love that. We want to provide these people who broke into our country the american dream. David: yeah. I thought the american dream was for americans, by the way. But at least i'll give
nancy pelosi credit she looked more sober there maybe not sober in thought than she has in the past. Look, she's just doing what nancy pelosi does. She throws things out there cleverly or not so cleverly and then backtracks when asked about the vote. The fact is she's right about one thing. They want to make illegal aliens american citizens that's called amnesty, it didn't work before. It is not going to work. And this
program nothing is free. If they get a loan a some form of subsidy, that means that you all of us we're paying for this program. Not just californians by the way.
Federal dollars will go into this. They did this in california instituted this program in 11 days they ran out of money what is it $150,000 or 20% of the home up to $150,000 essentially 0%
interest rate they're giving you money and it is a bad deal for the taxpayer because they don't get any of the interest on money they've loaned to the government but on top of that, if they can't fund it for californians that are here legally for more than 11 days, they throw more people in there for eligibility that's going to screw over californians. If then will sign this into law it will be gavin newsom he does free health care and subsidies for undocumented immigrants and look let's remember, the american dream was for immigration, it was based on people coming to this country legally. That's exactly it, david you're stealing my thunder. But that's what it is we're talking about legal immigration they're working hard, that is the fundamentals of the american dream. They are paying taxes. They are giving it back as well. So to be given out these
tax funded loans to people who aren't even necessarily working, who aren't paying taxes that is something really hard to wrap your head around especially we know how democrats feel about
work requirements when it comes to some of these
government assistance programs. They're against it.
Donald trump at the time said you know what i'm okay with
government funds as long as they're a
work requirements with it. But the democrats keep
say nothing. Alicia: i think there's something larger going on here because it is nancy pelosi who makes no accidents when she speaks who is delivering this message right this is a california bill. But it is nancy pelosi, and what she's saying is a direct conflict with what kamala harris is trying to convince americans that she is right now going to be tougher on immigration and the border. This lies in face of what she's doing. Joey: similarly to kamala 25 grand it just creates more competition for people trying to buy homes a way to jack up prices of homes. All right still to come on the big weekend show, elon musk goes
scorched earth on brazil for banning x, as a former top democrat says he needs to face a threat of arrest. Wow. before
apoquel chewable for allergic itch. Giving dogs pills was a
battle of wits. Oh, maria, i'm wise to your foolish game. Is it gone? totally gone.
Itch relief just got easier. Apoquel. The trusted
number one treatment for allergic itch is now available in a
tasty chewable that works in a day. Do not use in dogs with serious infections. May cause worsening of existing parasitic
skin infestations or preexisting cancers and serious infections.
New neoplasias have been observed. Do not use in dogs less than 12 months old. Ask your vet for apoquel chewable. Do it! david: welcome back to the big weekend show as students at
columbia university head back to class this week
elon reporting activist to, quote, take out a
proisrael professor, making the plea on a webinar called
islamic political activism. The threat bringing up fairs of students on campus that antisemitic violence that happened last year will start again. So will there be the change that columbia's
antisemitism task force is calling for in their new
report fox news correspondent
cb cotton is in new
york tonight. Reporter:
hi david 90 page report from
the school task force was created using freedom nearly 500 columbia
students jewish israeli
on nonjewish and columbia university did become the epicenter for
student protest over the israeli
hamas war this spring. The report says most of the testimonials are encounters which happened before encampments emerged or the
student takeover of hamilton hall. Which the report says as when students experiences became, quote, more extreme. But in the days immediately after
october 7th you have students reporting things like this one
student sharing, quote, on campus, my friends have been
spit on. Been called like terrible, terrible names. A very close friend of mine was called a lover of genocide, and then a lover of
baby killing. The report was released just days before
columbia fall semester begins next week.
Task force made several recommendations in this new report to include improved antibias training, and a new system for reporting allegations of antisemitism. All of which columbia's interim president said she welcomes. David. David: thank you cb now to this elon musk going
scorched earth after brazil banned x blocking access to the platform for tens of millions of people and musk calling out brazil as where in the cloak of free democracy while crushing people under its boot. And if you think the tyranny couldn't happen here, well think again.
Bill clinton former
labor secretary obama's former economics are arguing that a new oped in a new oped that musk should be reigned in and threatened with arrest. The
on ed reads and i, quote, elon musk is rapidly transforming his enormous wealth into a huge source of unaccountable political power. That is now back another authoritarians around the world an says regulators around world should threaten musk with arrest if he doesn't stop is there because
free speech advocate let's be honest the hypocrisy is funny it wasn't until
george clooney pinned and that he wasn't going run again so let's be clear that hollywood has power over the democrats. And let's be honest too if elon musk was endorsing kamala harris right now, they would love him they certainly loved him when he was all about tesla they're like
yeah ev he's on our side. Then he's like free speech. No, no too far. David: now threatening tesla to nicole's
point threatening spacex by the way they're not giving up those contracts they kind of need them ask boeing, and yeah this is a threat when you're not on their side isn't it? alicia:
freezing star link accounts and musk owns 40% of those as well and also pointed out that x is the most used
news source in brazil and brazilians are saying they feel cut off from the world. So yeah, it is really frightening. The level of power that they have when they're accusing hem of having unchecked power. David: joey if you elect a socialist which they did in brazil you end up getting communist policies. Joey: ironic isn't it? listen, let me tell you what's happening here back to the oped say you're away from brazil and look how democrats are correcting to elon musk, owning twitter in this country for this
election cycle. It is a huge vulnerability for them because they controlled the social
media narrative for last
election cycle. I'm old enough to remember when republicans in congress wanted to revoke section was it 230 basically that the immunity for the publisher as it applied to
social media because they felt like
social media was being unjustly bias. Not by the users, but by the algorithm.
Elon musk comes in, buys twitter says you know what i want to show you the algorithm i'm going to get your feedback and not going to moderate users and whatever they put up there is up to you to decide if that's bogus or not go do your
research morse american thing i can think of. So this is the political
ruling class freaking out because somebody else has a voice and they can't control the flow of information. Thisit is just democrats are
dog it in a malicious way. Principle right there with elon coming up everyone falling in love with new
biopic reagan that's in form of a question. When you told me you wanted to make a difference in this world david: but, of course, liberal media is souring on the flick and tomorrows with on fox & friends, the father of an

rookie shot during
robbery attempt is now out of the hospital less than a day later here's fox news
correspondent christina coleman from
los angeles. Reporter: rickey released from the hospital this afternoon has he continues to recover from the
bullet wound to his chest. The shooting and attempted robbery happened in broad daylight around 3:30
yesterday afternoon and the middle of this
holiday weekend. Police say he was shot apparently fought for his life just about a block away from san francisco
union square. A popular
tourist area where hotels and restaurants. Police say a 17yearold armed with a gun tried to
rob piersol both struck by gunfire leaving 23yearold
wide receiver with a
gun shot wound to his chest. He was signing autographs and greeting fans just hours before he was shot this
holiday weekend. The
san francisco 49ers released a statement
last night saying, quote, our thoughts and prayers are with rickey and the entire family. Police say the
17yearold suspect in this case was arrested trying to run away from the
crime scene. He remains in custody pending charges. Back to you. Thank you christina now to this. This
labor day weekend, the first full length
feature film about
president ronald reagan is getting rave reviews from moviegoers but reagan is completely shunned by critics. Opened this gate [applause] mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall. Okay so listen to this disconnect. Audiences are giving the movie a 98% on
rotten tomatoes critics 19. Some
calling it, quote, the worst movie of the year embarrassing, and quote almost fun bad, but mostly just bad, bad. David, what do you think is going on here?
hollywood hypocrisy people think they're really superimportant because they can give their ideas. Go see the movie for yourself. A little
back story on this for all of the hollywood
left haters of anything if you love your health
care
ronldz reagan is president of s. A. G. Of your
health care stop complaining. A lot of this story was recorded in not only what happened in history but conversations with michael with his son michael so you get the story of the man from a boy going forward to president. And also the story of the family and the story behind the story. What happened conversations afterwards, between michael and
gorbachev daughter to put into the
movie portrayal of
nancy reagan, so this is a story about a man. Ronald reagan connected with the american people. He connected with people arntiondz world if you want to learn more about the man i'm telling you this is a film to go see. Because it is not just reading about the
soviet union and yes pope
john paul or
margaret thatcher not the public stories. But so much more.
Dennis quaid is a great ark. Voted for reagan by the way. Kicked out of the hippy clean up that's what he says for voting for reagan and it is just again, it is
hip hypocrisy for people who want to attack and it is personal. S a
trump supporter am i getting that may have or maybe criticized something i have to google but i think as a
trump supporter and so i think that this is just another example of cancel culture we saw this with jim with
the sound of freedom and because there's any conservative it is tied or associated with this movie, i think they're going to try to cancel it but 98% on
rotten tomatoes if it was a
history buff that sounds like a movie i should see. It is a biopic it is about the man.
Inch dennis quaid he talked about the significance of
president reagan. Testified before congress, he said that we ought to as a nation just go ahead and allow the
communist party to come into this country, let them say their
ideas everything else because democracy can handle it. And it would sort itself out. Because people would see the
common sense of things he believed in common sense. Nicole: when i saw this criticism it got me wondering are these critics really talking about what the movie is about or are they talking about who it's about? joey: i haven't seen
thes movie i can't tell you if it is a good movie or not but a movie that was treated the same way was
hill billy,
ron howard directed it and this was before
jd vance came out as a republican this was when
jd vance was largely unknown the reason they hated that movie because it focused on people in appalachia and that wasn't an area they could support and it was panned by the critics it was panned by the critics on
rotten tomatoes but 90% of approval by viewers on every score so if this movie gets the same score from viewers, and same disparity it is a
prettamn movie.

Rfk junior is suing

swing state so we will see part here is mind this one hits near and dear for me my town suffers from not enough
selfservice retirement remote town in colorado there in a tugofwar over 200foot
