According to lebanons health minister, eight people have been killed and 2,700 injured after you mention it, pagers carried by hezbollah fighters spontaneously exploded when they received a message. The pagers that exploded were reportedly a new model brought in by hezbollah in recent months. Hezbollah official speculates to reuters that malware may have caused the pagers to heat up and explode. So far israel has not said anything about these explosions. They happened in several different locations. So the medical response is vast. The Lebanese Red Cross has deployed 130 additional ambulances and over 500 medical workers. This happened after israelly officials said theyre turning their attention to the northern border. The explosions happened as far as beirut, which is 260 miles north of where we are in Tel Aviv right now.
