And this is why, according to axios, harris pledged in 2019 to take four Executive Actions as president that would give 2 Million dreamers a path to Citizenship And Shield more than 6 Million undocumented immigrants from deportation. Asked this week whether she would take the same Executive Actions, her campaign declined to answer. But now we know as a California Senator, the things she saw at the border still had her chanting down with deportation. Back to you. Steve so, peter, you asked her about going to the southern border before Lester Holt asked her about that, and, of course, she has never been to europe was her answer. Peter right, she was very defensive. But, its funny to look at that clip. I havent watched the i went back and checked the transcript to see what i asked her in 2021. It seemed like such a long time in June Of 2021 for her not to have been to the border yet as Vice President that was three years ago. Hasnt been back. Steve The Point was it had been because i just saw the Fox News story, when you asked her that, it had been 90 days since she was appointed to look into the root causes or what some people refer to as the border czar. And when she comes down and unless the speech starts with i was wrong through most of my adult life about the border, what follows cannot be considered authentic. Ainsley she was against the wall and used the wall in campaign ads, for paying free healthcare for illegals amongst other things. And she was chanting in that parade that you saw at the top of the hour in l. A. With Jussie Smollett and with her family sanding up, up with education. Down, down with deportation. She was not for deportation. Lawrence everyone knows. Ainsley sorry one more stat be 67 decline in removal of illegals compared to the trump administration. So trump deported many more than she did with Joe Biden. Lawrence those have just simple facts that you laid out there, ainsley. One thing i have also noticed about Kamala Harris, she doesnt answer questions at all. When they pose the question. Brian even when oprah asked. Lawrence with oprah and the Debate Stage. They spin. They want to talk about Donald Trump. They wont tell you the policy positions. They wont answer basic questions. The person thats best at it. People say is the best communicator for the Kamala Harris question. Brian used to work for Joe Biden. Lawrence used to work for Joe Biden. Couldnt answer this simple question. Watch. Harris was asked recently on the Debate Stage whether she thinks americans are better off now than four years ago. And she didnt directly answer that question. So ill ask you, does she think americans are better off now or not . Well, i think that she talked pretty openly about the mess that we inherited when President Trump left office and the economy and the crash that happened because of his total mismanagement of covid and the way that covid itself created global Inflation Numbers that were out of control. And so she thinks that the american people have made progress but that we have to go even further. Thats why she has a plan specifically to take on corporate Price Gouging when they jack up prices in emergencies like that, especially on things like food and at the Grocery Store. And at the same time, you have Nobel Prize winning economists who have come out and said that Donald Trumps economic plan would actually blow up inflation and make it worse. If i can follow up on the question again high prices for people the Choice Nut Election is very clear. She going to keep talking about her plans to bring down those Grocery Costs while Donald Trump is going to explode them. Ill ask the question again. Are americans does she think americans are better off now than four years ago . Well, i think when people are running for president , they want to see what are you going to do for me. The thing about live tv, as we all know, we can ask any question we want, the truth is they, whoever our guest is can answer it any way they want. Because the campaign and she, Kamala Harris, has changed some positions, until we hear the words come out of her mouth, the things were going to remember she is on the record for are those things from 2018. Are the things from 2019. Its one thing for people like ian to say okay, were going to have and speak broadly and generally. But we need specifics. Because, if people want to know what she stands for, and thats one of the things all the polls show, they would like to hear more from her. She is going to have to give us more details. Im not used to politicians or surrogates saying want people are better off and say why they are better off. To simply not say if people are better off is, i think, malpractice in a campaign. Its the same question they are asked over and over and continuously changing the tune, changing the direction. Talking about how she grew up in a middle Class Family or talking about how groceries. Are you going to still support the Dreamer Policy when in stark contrast Donald Trump vows to end not only the Dreamer Policy. Not enact that to vow migrant flights into small towns in pennsylvania cities, which they are doing and Governor Shapiro knows it but he only knows it in retrospect because even he wasnt informed by it. Its seven Battleground States and both sides say they need pennsylvania to win. One of the things that we have six weeks to go, obviously. But one of the things that i think is going to be important in the next six weeks, you could win or lose it by your campaign. The thing that could really close the door thats always been so much fun. Will be great to see some wonderful people there, including cardinal timothy m. Dolan. Sad but not surprising that Kamala Harris has decided not to attend. According to the i think it was the new York Post her campaign says she will attend if she is elected president for sure. Brian you mean next year . She is not invited next year.
