FOXNEWS The Ingraham Angle October 1, 2024
Time for a real president. That's the focus of tonight's angle laura: millions of americans are suffering and more than 130 dead in the aftermath of one of the worst hurricanes to ever hit the united states. And tragically for those effected we neither had a
president or vice
president in place and equipped to direct the federal preparation are in to demand a swift response by the federal government. Victims of hurricane helene didn't know where to turn over the weekend. At this point you don't see a
fema station
set up? that's right. And we should. We should by now. Is that concerning? yeah. We expect nor and we can't get out. Laura: you should expect more. Can't get out.
Kamala harris
had no trouble getting into california and to las vegas, to campaign over the weekend same with biden. He spent his time at
rehoboth beach.
Resources in
north carolina
knowing what you know now and do you work you would have spent the weekend here
in washington
rather than in delaware. Come on, stop that game, will you? delaware is 90 miles from here, okay? i was on the phone the whole time working on that. Laura: the whole time. Needless to say both slammed for failure to address the nation in real time.
Asleep at the wheel,
absentee leaders,
the
dereliction of duty.
These are just some of the stories phrases ricocheting around
instagram and twitter
about what seemed like a low key public response to an
epic natural disaster.
Biden got
shamed into going. He says he will go to the region wednesday. As for kamala, her team released a statement saying she would visit the regions affected when it was not disruptive to ongoing operations. What they really meant when it wasn't disruptive to harris' previously scheduled
campaign events.
We saw
what a real leader's response was like this afternoon in a very hard
hit area
of georgia. There were a lot of roads
frems oil
to water to all sorts of equipment that will help them. Many thousands without power. Running low on
food and fuel.
It's going to be distributed now or soon. Throughout georgia as well as north carolina,
south carolina,
florida, virginia, alabama, and tennessee. Remember all the blather at the dnc how trump doesn't care about anyone but himself. Throughout the region our hearts are with you and we are going to be with you as long as you need. In your hour of need, you are in our prayers. And we pray to god and throughout this long week, the long weeks that lay ahead you are going to have a lot of work but the
end result
is it is going to be good. Laura: harris couldn't give up a day on the trail to pretend to care. Hours after trump showed up with
truck load
of supplies speaking to responders and volunteers. Kamala showed up at work. I have received regular briefings on the impact of hurricane helene. Including from
administrator chriswell
and over the past 24 hours, i have spoken with
governor kemp
of
georgia
governor cooper
of
north carolina
and many local officials. I have shared with them that we will do everything in our power to help communities respond and recover. Laura: that's fine. Of course, the government should be mobilized to help. But that does not change the fact that
biden and kamala
harris were not at the
white house
driving our preparedness. Why weren't you and
vice president
harris here
in washington
commanding in this weekend? i was
demand commanding.
I was on the phone at least two
hours yesterday
and the day before as well. I command, it's called a telephone. With all my security people. Laura: your job simply isn't to be briefed as you hunk every down in delaware or just proceed as if nothing is wrong on the
campaign trail.
When you are president, you are actually the nation's chief executive you are constitutionally bound that the laws are faithfully executed. Now implicit in
oath of office
is a pledge that your policies will prepare and protect us preemptively. And that means we don't appoint people to key positions, key cabinet positions because they are a first this or that it means don't waste time in
crisis draining
the
petroleum reserve
by to win midterms. President
in washington
and on camera reassuring the public, during, and after a crisis that means you are leading with confidence. Now,
college football coach
in america all watched the games over the weekend. Frankly every senior associate at every major lawmakers works harder at their jobs than
biden and harris.
It's not leadership to release a
statement a
or release a photo while on
campaign plain.
Not leadership to say that you spoke with officials on the ground or i'm getting regular briefings. A chief executive drives the key personnel knows enough to ask the right questions. How do we get more potable water in place before the hurricane hits? and how do we distribute it as fast as possible? the
moment kamala
ended her prepared marks at
fema today,
cnn bent
to a
fire chief
in swa know that county north carolina. Not too far away from asheville, it's been flattened. Kamala said we are with you at that
fema briefing
and you will have everything you need. Total destruction not only this will not be repair it will be a rebuild. Do people in your region have basic necessities like electricity or water? no. The water and the power is both out currently in our area the businesses main part of our community they will have to be torn down and rebuild. The main bridge through our community is damaged. That bridge goes over to a secondary road. That secondary road is not there on the
east side
of the bridge. It's not even there. Been washed away. They have been without water and
cell phones
a couple days. In a situation like this we need a real president who will call in all of the top officials to demand results expeditiously. Not just get a briefing. All
red tape
must be cut. All of it literally no one thinks
joe biden
or kamala harris is doing everything they can beyond just observing what other people are doing when governor ron desantis' team knew this hurricane was coming. Man did they kick into high gear.
Comms team
in place. Logistical persons in present. Is
search and rescue
mobilized if you follow them on twitter like i do you saw it all. Kamala she was busy with other things. Good evening, nevada. [cheers and applause] good evening. Good evening. Good evening. Laura: disgraceful. And back to
mayor pete,
our secretary of transportation. He loves to go on
tv campaigning
for kamala every five minutes seems like he is on tv. When will he go on tv to tell us when i40 is going to open or how many bridges are going to have to be totally rebuilt? will they drop all their dei regulations any that still exist to ensure that people get the help they need as fast as possible? just like the slow inept
butler field.
Coordination by
president and
vice president
has bread its own
conspiracy theories.
And what does u. S. S.
Postal service
going to do for all those counties that can't get their mailin ballots? has
biden or harris
demanded a real plan for that? what is that plan? had trump been president over the last 10 days a lot of people in the federal government would have been working a lot of nights and on the weekend to prepare for this hurricane. He was always pushing to push people to work faster. If they screwed up really or didn't move fast enough they were fired. Sometimes publicly. When somebody does a bad job, i fire them. They have done such a poor job and they never
fire anybody.
Laura: you got to put pressure on employees to get the job done. These people in the carolinas, georgia, tennessee, they are lucky that this is an an
election year.
They will get help. The poor people of maui still don't have all the help they need. We don't just need a real president now. We need a real president next year and for the next four years. The
crises buffeting america at home
and abroad are severe. And if we do not respond in the right way and at the right time, the consequences for all of us will be dire. And that's the angle. Joining me now is
tulsi gabbard,
former congresswoman, member of trump's
transition team tulsi
you saw it with the administration's rather slow footed response to battle wildfires. Kamala's team, look, she came to
washington today
and she got briefed and they are on it. Does that satisfy your concerns? no, laura, not at all. First of all my heart goes to all of those who have seemed their lives and homes and families devastated by this hurricane and my
frustration and anger
at the lack of adequate response even at a
baseline level
from kamala harris and
joe biden
reminded me exactly of what our communities on maui faced in the wake of tragic and historic wildfire that took over 100 people's lives when i went
to lahaina
and
west maui
a couple days after wildfires completely destroyed the community. I heard from
community leaders
and neighbors, people who were helping their neighbors trying to put the pieces back together. They did not see a single federal official on the ground.
Kamala harris
and
joe biden
they said
well fema
is on the ground, sure, they are in downtown in government buildings but not boots on ground in the communities that saw their
home and community
completely devastated by. This i have friends there in asheville, north
carolina and other communities
devastated by hurricane helene and they're saying the exact same thing as you heard from that sheriff they don't have access to water. They don't have access to
licket and communication.
The same thing that happened to our communities in west maui. We have not seen a single official on the ground. Not even a fema or vestwearing person going out there and getting that assessment. Laura: what are they doing? i don't understand this. They are focusing on bureaucracy. Laura:
deanne chriswell the head
of fema. I know she worked for
de blasio.
She was in the
air national guard.
She had some, you know, fine service to her country. Was she the best person to head fema? i don't know. I know she worked for obama at fema they made a
big deal first fema female
director. Just say she is the best qualified for the job. I don't know if she is or not. When they knew this hurricane was going to be big and they knew it for days, tulsi. We should have seen all of government as they like to call it approach. That should have been laid out right away. She was in
nevada campaigning.
I would guess if you ask the people of maui whether she is qualified and the right person to be in that job, almost a person every one of them would have said no. The very first thing they heard from her is when she stood proudly in the white
house pressroom
saying here's what we're doing for the people of maui. We have given $700 to every household that's been impacted by this fire. As though that was something that was worthy of
applause or recognition.
It is unfortunate the people of
north carolina
are facing a leadership in the
white house
who care more for bureaucracy rather than actually i can canning down the doors of that bureaucracy and getting out there and providing the help that these families and
communities diary need.
The
chief executive officers
don't just take briefings, they direct personnel. You know this about
president trump.
Why wasn't this done already.
Clipping back
to people. Wait a second, why are we behind on this? why is this
trade deal
not done? they got five trade deals done in four years. This administration, i don't believe they have gotten a single
trade deal
done for the united states. He is demanding you want somebody demanding in situation like this. This is disturbing. Tulsi, i know your experience in maui was so apt for tonight. Thank you for joining us. Now it's time to take the pulse of the nation. Just 36 days left until
election day.
So where do we stand?
real clear politics
polling
average kamala
is up by just two points and in
battle grounds of pennsylvania
and north carolina, the wisconsin, they are pretty much tied. But, in michigan suddenly not looking good for kamala harris leading by 1. 4%. At the same time in 2020 bind was up by 5. 2016, hillary was also up by 5. So kamala's surrogates apparently are panicking according to a video obtained by axios.
Congresswoman elissa slotkin
says kamala is, quote, under water in the
state and slotkin
is not feeling her best right now about kamala's chances there joining us is
matt towery.
People approach me at
sporting events.
What's going to happen? i have no idea what is going to happen. Why is slotkin concerned tonight, matt? well, let me tell you why they are concerned. I have looked at polling that i have been privy to and public the next few days. Trump is trending up in almost every single
battleground state.
Almost every one. And when you ask the question, how are your neighbors going to vote? very shy trump voters sometimes. Those numbers explode i have not seen this ages. I'm usually
doom and gloom
for the republicans. Right now i am seeing a true shift in public sentiment. Not just in michigan and in pennsylvania. I'm seeing it in nevada as a matter of fact. There has been a turn around there. Only
problem child
is georgia.
Traditionalist republicans
go way back. They are feeling the groove with trump right now. It's the more newcomer republicans and those who live in those areas hit by
the storm.
Let me add one last thing. Thank you for talking about
the storm.
I live in the center of it in st. Petersburg, florida, i have neighbors left and right who lost their homes. Thank you for focusing on it, it's been a brutal week for everyone in the southeast. By the way, that storm affected republican areas. Just saying, demographically all the way up. Basically majority republican other than asheville. So, what effect that's going to have on turnout, i no earthly idea. Laura: we would think that a

of the

chief executive officer of the
united states would reassure americans that everyone's vote would be counted they care so much about
election integrity. Every vote better be counted for all these people suffering. I haven't heard anything from the administration from that msnbc, matt, steve broke down another very troubling trend for democrats. Watch. Yes, harris is ahead by 14 over latino voters.
Beat trump by 33 points among latino voters. That was improvement relative to 16 and 12 for republicans. Now four years later looking at 14. Fits in all w. All the recent elections here. Yes, much tighter. Laura: matt, not just that. Trump leads harris on the immigration and
border issue by 14 points this
idea proamnesty to get latino voters, i don't think so. Well, you know, and the democrats are outspending the republicans
big time on the
big hispanic latino networks and
radio stations. Yet, trump is continuing to trend up. I will tell you another thing he is trending back up in. That's africanamerican voters. We're looking in these various
battle ground states, when harris first got into the race, he dropped down to like the standard republican 7, 8, 10%. Is he bouncing right back up to 22, 23, 24%. So, this is an amazing i'm seeing a shift and i will tell you, these prognosticators with these models that they have, that they have been wrong by the way each presidential election. They had this thing spreading wide open for harris. They better rethink the models, it's closing with trump having momentum. At least with 30something days that we have left. Laura: as
americans up and down, north carolina,
south carolina, tennessee. We're unaccounted for during this crisis with the hurricane. She is in vegas. Trying to shore up support latino voters over the weekend and like nothing else happening in the united states. Matt. I don't think that's going to sit well with people in
the end. I don't think so. Well, we saw what katrina did. In terms of the president's
approval rating.
President bush. When that first happened. Until they appointed a general to start
cleaning things up. It's too late for a generate now. These people in
north carolina are stranded. I think 19,000 houses destroyed. Just in my county of
pinellas county in florida you are not even talking about the people in
north carolina who are just strand stranded. This is not to be political this is major inflection in this campaign. Trump went and didn't grandstand he got involved that will score him points in georgia and
north carolina and perhaps nationally appearing like a leader. Laura: he prayed with the people of georgia. Matt, thank you so much. Yes. Laura: sneak peek of j. D. Vance's prep ahead of tomorrow's big faceoff. take an ekg from anywhere, but with 6times the data. day one, given his
proriot record in minnesota, that tim walz was a

me and you have a sense of who we are and where we came from, you would think we have nothing in common. But, his, you know, he comes from and grew up in the same different kind of the a country. Folks different color different culture but same people. I just found that so familiar to me. And i guess that the process was ultimately i made a decision about my gut. Laura: yeah. That's nothing related to whether is he a good vice presidential pick. Joining me now
monica crowley former trump
assistant treasury secretary. She served as the mock debated moderator for vance. Also with me katy pavlich
fox
news contributor. Monica, let me start with you. J. D. Is hard to beat in an argument. But debates are sometimes more about those humanizing moments as much as they are about facts. And i think that's what walz is hoping for. Yeah. I do think that tim walz, laura is, going to come out with the minnesota nice, the whole kind of
midwest folksy act. Because he really can't run on anything else he really can't debate on a
policy platform.
Tim walz faces a very difficult job because he has got to defend kamala harris' catastrophic record on the economy. On inflation. On the wide open border. On the clasp of
law and order and on
foreign policy and at the same time walz is going to have to defend his own radical record in minnesota where he allowed minneapolis to burn to the ground during the george
floyd riots, he has pushed for higher taxes, he has waged
war on american domestic energy production. He is supporting abortion on demand, up until the moment of birth. And he is allowing children to wanted to undergo
gender transition to be removed from their parents and essentially become
wards of the state. Laura: he is nice though. Going to be depending off a lot of his own and kamala harris' radical policies. Laura: he is such a disaster. I think he is a horrible pick from the beginning. And now i think we are beginning to see that there is
employee debate messaging over the weekend. Cnn had a piece how tim walz has a case of the nerves before the debate what are you going to do with
kim jong un or president xi? is that a head fake? why release that otherwise? they could be lowering exceptions. I want to address kamala harris when she says she has
nothing in common tim walz. They have a lot in common when it comes to
leftist progressive ideology. Especially when it comes to minnesota allowing violent criminals to run over the city
posting bail funds. Get out and do it again and
victimize minnesotans, it was a horrible choice. People who lived there said it was a horrible choice in terms of how he is going to perform tomorrow
night and messaging about nervousness, maybe he should be nervous. He has made fun of j. D. Vance a lot for going to
yalt law school. J. D. Vance knows how to make an argument. He has been
bull dozing a number of reporters and anchors and a lot of these interviews. He has been a very good defensive candidate for
president donald trump. And you are going to see him
tomorrow night tying kamala harris and tim walz directly together when it comes to what their
policy positions would be and j. D. Vance has been relentless holding
walz accountable for his lies about his record in the military. About his record as a governor. About what he has been saying on the
campaign trail. And then finally, you are seeing the
trump campaign messaging that they are probably going to have a one or two
tiananmen contitinsin there that the
house oversight committee subpoenaed
alejandro mayorkas because the number of whistleblowers have been concerned about tim walz's ties to the
chinese communist party for years and there were group chats about this in the agency long before he was chosen as the vice presidential candidate. I think we are in for a
show tomorrow night. And j. D. Vance is going to do a good job of holding tim
walz and kamala harris accountable for records. Laura: very good at personalizing things and never substantive.
Oprah approach to campaigning.
New york times siena polling now of likely voters in ohio, wisconsin, michigan
shows walz with a slight edge on vance when it comes to favorability. And this is because of the media's push but, monica, isn't that because vance actually takes the media to task when they say something really stupid like shouldn't corporations pay their fair share like one of the dumb typical cliches of modern debates? yeah. The imperial media, they all have such huge egos and of course they are all on the other side so they really hate being taken to task. They really hate to be demonstrated to be wrong. And j. D. Does that on a regular basis. He just puts them right back in their face with the facts. And they can't stand that of course. But, look, both of these candidates are relatively unknown to the vast majority of americans. And that's what makes
tomorrow night so incredibly important.
Senator vance is going to hold
governor walz accountable, of course. Is he also going to pair that, laura, and katy, with the proactive affirmative case for the
trumpvance team. And that means bringing the economy back. It means restoring law and order. If means closing the border. It means
mass deportation operation. And it means bringing back peace through strength globally.
Senator cont vance is going to e all of those arguments in a really powerful
way tomorrow night. Laura: indicatedy, really quick, one line. How important is it that he has a
human moment, too, about his upbringing or his past that kind of connection him with some of those female voters? katy, one line? yeah. Walls has smeared him as this elitist and he has this amazing allamerican story. So he needs to presented that story to the american people. Such as they can go, you know, watch the movie or read his book as well if they can't get enough tomorrow night. Laura: bingo, monica and katie. Wonderful. Thanks so much. We have a
fox news alert. Israel says it is starting a
ground invasion of lebanon. We're working to confirm all the details. We will bring it to you as we get them. And up next, the biden administration just admitted it does not care if
illegals vote. Told you this would happen, next. ( ) my back got injured very bad. I was off work for about a year. I heard about
relief factor from my wife. I took it every day, three times a day, for three weeks. Look at her and i said, the pain is gone. And she said, i'm glad it helped. I said, no, you don't understand. It's gone. You, too, can feel better every day with relief factor, a daily supplement that fights pain naturally. Call or go online now for our 3week quickstart, just $19. 95. Public faith in the integrity did i of our elections is falling fast, especially among republicans. It's dropped 16 points since 2020 according to gallup. That's after an
11point drop in the four years prior. Now, is that really surprising given what the doj over at the biden administration is up to? look at this headline from axios. Alabama illegally purged voters too close to location,
justice department says. The
alabama secretary of state
wes allen announced in august that he was cutting more than 3,000 people who were registered to vote but had been issued noncitizen i. D. Numbers by dhs. Now, this only happened, allen said, after he repeatedly asked the federal government to help identify those who were still noncitizens. But the doj refused to help. So now the doj is suing alabama, and says that the state's move violates the national
voter registration act because it's happening within 90 days of an election, they are demanding that all of the voters be reinstated. Joining us now is
brianna lineman, correspondent at
the federalist. Brienna, you have been covering, this there are so many cases of challenges to clean up the
voter roles happening across the country. I guess it's conceivable that some of those 3,000 individuals became citizens after that noncitizen number was issued? yeah. That's exactly what the secretary of state's office did say. But i think this speaks to the larger issue. States are being
ham stringed by the
program government from keeping noncitizens off their voter roles. So, for example, the department of justice
sues alabama. You look over to arizona, arizona is the only state in the country that requires
documentary proof of
citizenship toe register in a statewide election. They were sued by biden's department of justice. When you want to restorm
public trust and elections need have ways to ensure that americans are deciding learn elections and one way of doing that is making sure only eligible voters end up on the reporter rolls. And look, this is also happening interesting things are happening in georgia where the ballots now have to be hand counted. And you might as well have thought that someone was burning crosses on people's lawns the way they react to that hand counting? how dare you? that's going to created chaos on
election night, versus what they have done on election nights? when philadelphia comes in at the last moment after
everyone else is already had their ballots tallied and philly comes in to make up the difference? yeah, the easiest way to think about this georgia vogel imagine you go to a
bank and deposit $100. You want to make sure that that slip you get back says you deposited $100. It's called reconciliation, a basic
accounting process. All this new rule does is ensure that the number of physical ballots matches the
machine counted totals, the reason for this is that it ensure, for instance, a ballot can't be double scanned it. Would catch an instance what happened in montana recently where they declared the wrong winner of a race because they overcounted votes. Where did those overcounted votes come from.
Sample date that left behind. When have you
reconciliation process left in place you capture these issues before hand. Laura: heaven forbid we do that in arizona, top democrats are debating a dire
ballot dilemma, because they say that a
computer glitch meant 98,000 voters had no proof of citizenship. Yeah, this is something which lists maintenance would have caught. There have been lawsuits against all 15
arizona county election officials asking them to do their
due diligence under the national
voter registration act the nvra to clean their voter roles. They allegedly waited too long. So now we're, what? six weeks out from an election and this is what they find. Laura: all right, brianna we will stay on this. Thank you very much. We have a
fox news alert. Israel has started a
ground invasion of lebanon, fox news senior national
correspondent kevin corke here with all the latest. Kevin? laura, very interesting. The expansion of the ongoing
battle in the middle east by the way this is parallel to and separate from the ongoing
battle in gaza that is currently underway. We have just received word as you mentioned from
israeli defense forces that they have expanded their battle into the southern part of lebanon. What we have just seen is a post on x to confirm what they are saying. It reads in part in accordance with the upper political echelon they have committed a limited localized
ground rate offensive against very specific hezbollah targets in
southern lebanon. Now, this will target not just individuals but also
terrorists infrastructure in the area. And what the israelis are saying often in this particular statement, is that this is specific. This is based on actionable intelligence. This is also methodical in its
flan planning and the training that goes into it. You get the sense of what they are trying to communicated here, laura, is that this will be limited, this will be targeted, and this is specific to individuals and infrastructure. They don't want the narrative to continue to balloon that they are simply going in and indiscriminately tilling people. What is happening right now because the they have now moved into southern lebanon, this is an expansion of the ongoing battles that are happening in that region of the world, again, the idf, if you are go and actually see the post, they lay this all out. And what is interesting i think at this hour is this is just not just an acknowledgment, lawyer, expansion of the ongoing
battles nut region are happening right now in southern lebanon, it's also in their minds, a defense of the folks who live in northern israel who have been explassed. They say continue this separate and apart from the ongoing battles that are happening in the gaza as they, again, continue to attempt to repatriate those who have been kidnapped. We will keep an eye on it but for now back to you. Laura: thank you, kevin,
coming up, democrats reveal their plans to shut down free speech. If kamala wins in november. we're with liam after his fourth

Baseball legend pete rose has died at the age of 83 at his
las vegas home. He is the 17time allstar. He won three world series championships for the
cincinnati reds. I grew up watching him. But he will always be remembered as major league baseball's alltime leader in
base hits. But, of course, rose's infamous ties to gambling kept him from earning baseball's highest honor the
hall of fame.
Pete rose dead at 83. Well, democrats insist that trump is a threat to democracy. How many times have you heard that as usual, they are just projecting. These folks are the ones that want to shred the constitution and first and foremost they want to ditch the first amendment. If people go to only one source and the source they go to is sick, and you know, has an agenda, and they are putting out disinformation, our first amendment stands as a major block to the ability to be able to just, you know, hammer it out of existence. What you needwhat we need is to is to win the ground, win the right to govern by hopefully having, you know, winning enough votes that you are free to be able to to implement change. Laura: i liked him better when he was
wind surfing off in the distance. Joining me now
victor davis hanson, senior fellow at the
hoover institution. Victor, if kamala wins, what will this hammering out of free speech he references look look like? well it, will look like what we saw with the warping of the fbi working with
twitter and facebook but it will be on steroids. Is he really campaigning that 85% of the media, the
print media, all of
the network news, pbs, which is 85% of the delivery of the news isn't enough. And they want to control they want total control because their message doesn't appeal to 51%. So they open the border to get new constituents. They deny who they're. They act as if they're centrist for 90 days during an election. And now they want that's not enough. They want to suppress free speech because they don't have a total monopoly on it. And you know, to be frank, laura,
john kerry is a person who brought the
russians n 2013 after 35 years they had not been in the middle east. He is the author of the disastrous iran deal. He gave us the
paris climate accord. So he has no credibility at all. And especially given what we have seen with
media collusion and that monopoly of russian collusion,
laptop disinformation. The suppression of the
new york post to tell us
the truth on the eve about the laptop of the 2020. So he has no credibility. None whatsoever. Laura: he will get a lot of it at
the world economic forum with all those
blue collar workers, victor. You can't make it up. Victor very short tonight. Wwe will have you back later in the week. Thank you so much. Celebrities ramping up endorsements even if some don't know why. Kamala's word of the day is with seen and unseen with raymond arroyo, next. oh, these factory floormats?. . . They're just as good as weathertech. . . Just as good as weathertech. . . They're just as good as weathertech. . . Just as good. . . Just as good as weathertech. . . Just as good. . . Are these

weathertech floorliners. They offer the ultimate protection. Front, back, and even up the sides. For a full line of premium american made products, order at wt. Com laura: it's time for seen and unseen where he reveal the stories behind the headlines. We turned
raymond arroyo.
Kamala harris really explaining those
policy details in an interview. Do you think a podcast with former nba players is where you go to a clean policy, i guess? look, i learned a lot. Did you know she
cooks pork roast when she gets nervous? she revealed that. As expected, we have a new word of the day. the word of the day is y'know? and it was just y'know, this is what i love about sports but so, y'know. Y'know, he described by that area, y'know. Y'know, it was local folks. Y'know, it's funny. Y'know, i don't mess with that. Laura: hmm. Raymond? y'know, laura, you've got to just roll with the punches. And, y'know, she'll give you the best things. And, y'know, when you see it, it's familiar. Y'know. Laura: i like the hand gestures. I don't think i am a
hand gesture person. I don't think i'm as good at
hand gestures as she has. The only news in the interview as you want to legalize pot. That was a big take away. Laura: that's worked out well for us. I don't think
celebrity endorsements mean that a lot, s we said over and over again. Julia louisdreyfus' endorsement perfectly captured the
harris candidacy. Are not an expert on various issues that we are up against today. I would really like it if the discourse could be tonic become kinder and more effective. And i think that will be the case with kamala harris and tim walz in office. Kinder and more effective discourse, laura. She doesn't need a candidate, she needs a therapist. And
shazam actor zachary levi he had this weekend to a nurse, but at least he provided a substantive reason. We live in a country that's been hijacked by a lot of people who want to take this
place way off the cliff, and we are here to stop that. We are going to take back this country. We are going to make it great again. We are going to make it healthy again. And so i stand with bobby and i stand with tulsi and
everyone else who is standing with
president trump. Laura: will he ever work again? well, he said this might be
career suicide, but you know what? he's doing it because he's concerned about the health and the welfare of the country. He was an
rfk jr. Supporter and now he's with trump. Everybody should be free to support whoever they like. As i said, the celebrity endorsements, i don't care one way or the other. Before we go, laura, i want to point out something. The other day on the
feast of st.
Michael the archangel, the former president, trump, posted this st.
Michael prayer against evil on social media, and today i was listening to his address to those damaged by the hurricane in georgia. Listen to this. In our hearts, god is with us. God is strongly with us, that the american people are stronger than any challenge that stands in our way. We pray to god for those who have been so badly injured and four, in particular, the people that are no longer with us. Synthes and
assassination attempts, he is invoking god more than i've ever heard him invoke god, but you want hope and you want the government to move as quickly as it can't give you the resources to rebuild. Laura: that was a beautiful moment. And the st. Michael prayer is one of the greats of all time. Raymond, is it true that you went back into your house to get your sinatra tapes during katrina? and we evacuated from katrina, i took it with me. I didn't need to go back! i took them with me. They were part of the first
evacuation care package. I didn't need to go back. I had them with me, baby. I'm not leaving sinatra behind. Laura: the
family pet, that all the other valuables, well. . . But those bootlegs, we've got to get them out of there. Raymond, always great to see you. Thank you. That's it for us tonight. Jesse watters takes it all from here. See you and welcome to
