Maritime alliance have reached a tentative agreement on wages. Also agreed to extend the Master Contract until January 15th of next year to return to the Bargaining Table to negotiate all other outstanding issues. Now, the strike, which lasted three days, was being closely watched by many, many feared it was creating huge economic headaches for both businesses and consumers. The deal reached Last Night will mean Wage Increase of more than 60 over the next six years. We also got a statement from President Biden overnight. He says todays tentative agreement on a Record Wage and extension of the collective Bargaining Process represents critical progress towards a strong contract. While Dock Workers are celebrating many americans in the southeast are still cleaning up from Hurricane Helene and they are wondering whats next . While President Biden was touring the damage over the last two days, some survivors are telling fox that they feel abandoned by the government. A little forgotten area for us. There is probably maybe 100 homes that are damaged on the Catawba River here on part of Lake Riley and mount island lake. Basically, there is major damage in the small area and we just feel like we are being forgotten. We havent received any response from fema. We are also hearing from republicans who say that a lot of the money that fema should be spending on Disaster Relief in their view should have been spent on just that as opposed to working on the migrant crisis. We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have. We are expecting another hurricane hitting. We do not have the Funds Fema does not have the funds to make it through the season. And there is a lot of concern about what the rest of Hurricane Season could bring as it goes until The End of november. They havent done that as republicans, we should be taking this as a chance to go into washington and say this is why you put America First. We had been in new york hubbing out of the city for the last the prior five days before that and so, we got home, we went to bed, finally at the house, kelly woke me up the next morning, she said we are going to East Tennessee today. We are going to help these people and do what we can with what we can. And so we got ahold of Bass Pro, johnny morris, reached out to my best buddy and said hey, team, lets gather some water, some snacks and nonperishables, would you be on board . Johnny loves people and this country as we do. So we sent a Flatbed Truck with a 36foot flatbed trailer. We loaded up the airplane. I mean, to the gills, literally, we sent an f150, My Son was driving. We sent a full blown suburban after we landed we loaded up again. So we cleared out two Bass Pro stores in a good way. And we took it over to newport, tennessee, we met our dave over there. Is he a local. He said lets go right up into the mountains, we are going to hit all the strategic tiny little churches you would never find on a map. May i add they have no cell service, no water, and very limited very limited to none electricity. So, it was un it was really unbelievable sight. Unless you are boots on the ground in person, you wouldnt believe it. You cant just see these things on television and go lets it looks pretty bad. You have to see it in person to really get a justification of what we are talking. Kids without shoes running around looking for their parents. Its one of the more wild things you will ever see in life. And not only devastating but really heart breaking. So, as fellow americans, you know, we are the belief, kelly and i, that we are supposed to help our fellow americans, help our neighbor. Love thy neighbor. And, hey, even though we are in middle tennessee and they are in eastern tennessee. They are still our neighbors. They are not just the only neighbors that we have. North carolina is dealing with this, too. Georgia, florida, lots of people, south carolina, all over these great united states and i just suggest that we all come together as one, as america. And as americans. Its going to take this is a humanitarian effort. This is boots on the ground. This is people this is people helping people. And we got to get out there and do it. And not only could they use extra money, but they need water and they need food. And believe me, some people are going to be without this for weeks at a time and months at a time. So its really important to get in there and get it done. Lawrence well, brother, there is a lot of people talking about doing stuff. You are about it. Im hearing from people that the local authorities are no longer trying to go house to house to just bring water to people. They are going house to house to bring body bags. Overwhelming smell of corpses rotting right now in the western part of the state. People have been left behind. And disgraceful does not begin to describe what we have seen in the western part of North Carolina. I am hopeful that our authorities across the board are paying attention to this. Our federal response has been abysmal. It is absolutely disgraceful that in the united states of america we have americans dying not because of a Natural Disaster but because of a man made disaster of relief efforts. There is a lack of that there. And as a former north carolinian, myself and a place i call home. I cannot tell you how upset i personally am to see what is going on there. Ainsley so sorry, laura.
