Free COVID-related counseling services available through Abb

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL) — UnityPoint Health-AbbeHealth Services is partnering with Hillcrest Family Services in Dubuque to offer free mental health visits through a grant.
These sessions are now available to anyone having anxiety, insomnia, stress, relationship troubles or for those simply not feeling themselves due to the pandemic.
The sessions are being offered due to expanded funding from the CARES Act and Mental Health/Disability Services of the East Central Region of Iowa.
Before, this service was only reserved for teachers and school employees. Now, the grant is now open to all Benton, Buchanan, Bremer, Delaware, Dubuque, Iowa, Jones, Johnson and Linn counties, regardless of income.
