Freeport, Florida firefighters respond to fatal fire in shed

FREEPORT — Walton County Fire Rescue and Walton County sheriff’s deputies responded to a fatal residential fire near Freeport Middle School on Tuesday night.
Deputies and firefighters were called to a home on Kylea Laird Road just after 9:30 p.m. following a 911 call from a passerby who saw flames coming from a building near the school, according to a press release from WCFR.
