The City of Fremantle’s stalled plan to hit commuters and University of Notre Dame students with a new parking fee could soon become a reality.
Councillors will vote on Wednesday to advertise a revamped parking law which would allow the local government to charge $3.50 for anyone who parks on Marine Terrace all day instead of the current free-for-all.
Fremantle council is looking to bring in a new parking law which would enable it to hit commuters and university students with a new fee.
