ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Friends of the Public Library will resume their monthly Saturday book sales that were halted during pandemic. The sales will be held at the Main Library, located at 501 Copper NW, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Saturday, Aug. 14. Subsequent sales will be held on the second Saturday of each month. Volunteers and staff members will be wearing face masks, and the group strongly urges shoppers to do likewise. The sales will feature books, CDs and DVDs. There is a $2 entry fee, but Friends of the Public Library members can enter free with their membership cards.
