The Suttons Bay Friendship Community Center held their third Diversity Dialogue meetings.
Its aim is to shed light on different cultures shared by those in town.
Samantha TwoCrow is a proud member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indian Tribe.
She says that at times her heritage has left her voice unheard, but on Wednesday Samantha was able to share her story with those in Suttons Bay.
“People come here because it’s a destination place and to experience the indigenous perspective is another part that I don’t think that is spoke too much about,” said TwoCrow.
