From "semiconductors are national power" to "AI is national

I was invited to be a seminar moderator at the 2023 Taiwan Supercomputing Conference themed on AI 2.0, supercomputing, and the new ecosystem, recently organized by Taiwan Web Service (TWS). After TWS president Peter Wu finished his keynote speech, I asked him how he feels about the ongoing generative AI boom. He replied, "Quite excited!"
