Frustration grows as rollbacks loom Graham Johnson Frustration is growing as Washington counties face re-opening rollbacks even as more people are vaccinated. With COVID cases rising, on Tuesday, Gov. Jay Inslee will announce which counties are rolling back. “We have to live with the consequences of our actions,” said King County health officer Dr. Jeff Duchin on Friday. Duchin warned for weeks about rising cases and hospitalizations, and says the date of the metrics the state will use to decide a rollback is already in the past. “Things can change between now and Tuesday that I can’t predict, but I don’t have any reason to think we won’t be moved back to Phase 2,” Duchin said.
