JOHN – Five local firefighters are being acknowledged for their years of dedication and service to Fort St. John. Deputy Chief Daniel Simpson and Captain Brent Morgan were recognized for 20 years of service and with the City, for which they were awarded the Federal Fire Services Exemplary Service Medal. The British Columbia Long Service Award was given to Captain Marco D’Agostino for 25 years of service. He has also served 20 years with the City. Lieutenant Alyn Stobbe and Fire Chief Darrell Blades were recognized for their 10 years and five years of service with the city, respectively.
