A pig roast, pitch tournament and pavement brick sale are planned to raise funds for playground improvements at Forty Fort Park. Organizers are raising funds for a handicapped swing set and playground equipment for children under 5 at the Forty Fort Park.
— The pig roast will be held June 19 at the Forty Fort Pavilion, hosted by the White House Diner and Fort Cafe, with all proceeds going toward the handicapped swing set and playground equipment for children under 5 at the Forty Fort Park. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased at the White House Diner and Fort Cafe. Chef Jeff Pizza will oversee the preparations.
