Fundraiser set up for squash court refurbishment A FUNDRAISER has been set up to raise money for the refurbishment of two community squash courts. A GoFundMe page has been set up by Nicola Watson who works for Caversham Park Village Association as the Marketing and Commercial manager. Nicola, who lives in Reading, explained the village association was set up in 1965 by the residents adding it was "founded by the community for the community”. The association is a registered charity and the community centre, known as the Milestone Centre, is made up of a social centre, bar and squash centre. There is also a youth and recreation wing which has a sports hall and an after school club.
