DARLINGTON’S Jedburgh Drive will be closed in order to install a drainage manhole. Darlington Borough Council announced that the maximum duration of the works will be 18 months, commencing from February 1 2021 and the closure will be in effect for three weeks. The works will affect from the western boundary of number 144 Jedburgh Drive westwards for 15 metres, the council will give an alternative route via Malvern Crescent which will be signposted. lIn planning applications this week, the South Tees Development Corporation in Stockton-on-Tees has applied to Marine Management Organisation for a marine licence in order to carry out work on the river bank at South Bank.
