Questions linger about the future of live, work and play-style developments in Maryland once the COVID-19 pandemic recedes, but builders express optimism the virus won’t hinder their popularity long term.
Some industry professionals compared the current situation to what developers and property owners navigated after 9/11. They pointed out the attacks caused doom and gloom predictions of high rises, and the desirability of urban areas, that never came true.
