The regions would separately allocate Rs45 billion for AJK and Rs61 billion for G-B PHOTO: AFP ISLAMABAD: A National Assembly committee has allowed Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir governments to allocate Rs106 billion development budget for the upcoming financial year 2021-22. The regions would separately allocate Rs45 billion for AJK and Rs61 billion for G-B. In a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan chaired by Committee Chairman Rana Shamim Ahmad Khan, the committee took the decision. During the course of the meeting, the secretary of the committee gave a detailed briefing regarding the development plans of both the regions for the upcoming fiscal year, the budget proposals and the G-B council.
