GILGIT (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Friday has admitted that he has also made mistakes regarding allotting party tickets in past.
Addressing a ceremony after unveiling a development package worth Rs370 billion in Gilgit-Baltistan, the premier said it’s disappointing that children and properties of our former leaders are in foreign countries. Those who have laundered money abroad are biggest traitors. Such corrupt elements only want to full their pockets after coming into power, he reiterated.
While talking about the package, the PM said it is the first time that such a big amount will be used for the development of this picturesque and strategically located region. G-B, AJK allowed to allocate Rs106b uplift budget

A National Assembly committee has allowed Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir governments to allocate Rs106 billion development budget for the upcoming financial year 2021-22.
The regions would separately allocate Rs45 billion for AJK and Rs61 billion for G-B.
In a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan chaired by Committee Chairman Rana Shamim Ahmad Khan, the committee took the decision.
During the course of the meeting, the secretary of the committee gave a detailed briefing regarding the development plans of both the regions for the upcoming fiscal year, the budget proposals and the G-B council. ....
