The outages occurred at some stations in connection with the turning off of the Colonial Pipeline following a cyber attack. Outages occurred in the Mountain State even though very little gas from that pipeline comes to West Virginia. Traci Nelson Traci Nelson, president of the West Virginia Oil, Marketers and Grocers Association (OMEGA), said Wednesday was a “bad day” in West Virginia when it came to outages but things were better Thursday.
