Joseph Bryant became a correctional officer right out of high school, but he always knew that was just a stepping stone before finding his future career. He stumbled onto George Stone Technical College's aviation maintenance program when visiting the school with his brother, who was interested in the field. Now, Bryant is one of the school's aviation maintenance students graduating in May with a job already lined up. "I took my shot at doing this, and I enjoy so much of this. I've never been in school where a program has interested me as much as this one. I did regular college, I just went for an (associate in arts degree). I had no interest in regular school work," Bryant said. "But in this program, I'm actually working toward a specific goal that I will have a job as soon as I graduate."
