After a cancellation, a delay and a rescheduling, the Georgia House and Senate Reapportionment committee has changed the date for the Augusta-area hearing on redistricting again. "The hearing was indeed rescheduled to August 11," wrote Kaleb McMichen, director of communications for House Speaker David Ralston, in an email. "I don’t have anything on the reason for rescheduling." Staff at the reapportionment office had no information on why the hearing had been moved. As of Tuesday afternoon, the list of all legislative committee meetings showed a Senate Reapportionment committee hearing on Aug. 12 in Augusta, with a location to be determined, but no corresponding House meeting.
