Authorities said an argument over a customer being asked to wear a COVID-19 mask led to a fatal shootout in Georgia. 
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued a statement on Monday that a customer identified as Victor Lee Tucker Jr. got into a verbal altercation with a Big Bear supermarket cashier in Decatur, Ga., over the mask requirement.
According to the statement, Tucker left the store, briefly returning with his handgun where he shot and killed the cashier, and exchanged gunfire with an Dekalb County Sheriff's Office deputy who was working off-duty at the store as a security guard.
