ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Music lovers pining for live performances can call up the Placitas Artist Series and get their Romantic fix. “David Felberg and Friends” will perform a series of string quartets in a live stream concert at placitasartistsseries.org at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13. Violinist Felberg’s friends include cellist James Holland, violist Laura Steiner and violinist Megan Holland in a program of Mendelssohn, Brahms, Ralph Vaughan Williams and the American composer Florence Price. David Felberg Mendelssohn penned his Quartet in F minor as an homage to his sister Fanny, who died in 1847. It bore the title “Requiem for Fanny.” The composer himself died two months later.
