ALBANY TOWNSHIP — One of Maine’s few certified organic cranberry farms sits about 15 miles outside Bethel and its newest owners, Tracyn Thayer and Stephen Leen, who officially closed on the farm in March, are excited for what’s to come next. They first heard about farm being for sale on December 23. Three days later they went to take a look at it and later that same day, made an offer for it. They bought the property from a family called the Woodward’s, who lived primarily in Massachusetts, but came to Maine on weekends.
