Gjurcinovski, Byrnes Observe “Trojan Footprint 21” Exercise at Krivolak Chief of Staff of the Macedonian Army (ARM) General Major Vasko Gjurcinovski and US Ambassador Kate Marie Byrnes observed at the Krivolak Military Training Grounds activities of the military exercise “Trojan Footprint 21” conducted by ARM’s Special Forces Battalion and the US Army Europe forces. The exercise demonstrated the interoperability between the two teams in executing land operations with air support, and for the first time in the country, capacities and abilities of military airplane AC-130 were demonstrated. The exercise is to conclude on 14 May 2021, and is conducted on several locations in Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Georgia, and its goal is to improve capabilities of NATO allies and increase trust and interoperability between them.
