GlaxoSmithKline sales manager awarded $8000 after restructuring made her redundant

On November 23, 2018, Lugg was invited to a meeting with her Auckland-based manager, Lance Barnes, and Sydney-based sales director John Sawicki.
Lugg was told that the company planned to combine her existing sales territory with Wellington-Wairarapa, with the loss of one job.
The restructure needed to be completed by November 30, the managers told Lugg.

Lugg was not given any documentation at the first meeting, so she emailed Barnes later that day seeking clarity, including whether her role was being made redundant and, if she turned down the combined new role, whether she would be made redundant.
