Gloucestershire in Covid-19 Tier 2 - live updates The county is in 'high' coronavirus restrictions Updated Gloucestershire has been placed in Tier 2 Covid-19 restrictions by the Government, it has been announced. The county had been in Tier 2 coronavirus restrictions following the second national lockdown and will remain in the same risk level following a review. It means that the area is still considered a ‘high’ risk area. The Government will be reviewing the tiers every two weeks and areas can move up or down the scale. The rules the county’s households has had to abide by since the start of December remain the same.
