You might've seen the story over the weekend of a young boy. Tragically, Jeremiah Perez was shot and killed by his father who didn't know the gun was loaded. According to reports, Othello Police arrested Jeremiah's father Felipe Tapia-Perez. Othello Police say Tapia-Perez admitted that he accidentally shot his own son while handling a gun. He has arrested and charged for suspicion of 2nd Degree Manslaughter, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, and Alien in Possession of a Firearm.
