Go to court like NPP did over 2012 polls and stop the vandalism – Peace Council to NDC The National Peace Council has urged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to call its supporters to order so they stop vandalising and destroying property as they protest and march against the results of the 7 December polls as declared by the Electoral Commission. This follows a series of demonstrations undertaken by supporters of the NDC across the country to drum home their rejection of the election results. Out of the 13,119,460 total valid votes cast, the incumbent, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), polled 6,730,587 votes representing 51.302 per cent.
