Godfrey discusses stormwater plans FacebookTwitterEmail GODFREY — Stormwater issues were the main topic at Godfrey Village Board meeting on Tuesday. The board approved soliciting a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to complete a drainage study and preliminary engineering for stormwater issues in the D’Adrian Subdivision. Village Trustee Mark Stewart said this would cover “a range of projects” and look at the subdivision as a whole. “There was one house that had sandbags against its patio doors because the water got so high,” Stewart said. Board members, however, voted down seeking an RFQ for a stormwater master plan for the village. Stewart said the plan would look at how ordinances might be changed to make sure issues are solved.
