A toddler who was killed when she stepped in front of a car was 'destined for greatness' and 'lit up the room' whenever she was nearby.
Little Luna Capri Matenga died on Tuesday, three days after she was hit by a car while crossing Goldmine Road on the Gold Coast on Sunday morning.
The three-year-old fought hard while in hospital, with her heartbroken parents Jessica Feeney and Timi Matenga by her side the entire time.
Now, one day out from Christmas, they are making preparations to lay their little girl to rest.
Luna was her mother's 'mini' and had the spirit of a lion. Just three weeks before her death, Ms Feeney penned a tribute to her daughter explaining that she was 'destined for greatness'.
