TriHealth plans to build a new emergency room and remake the Good Samaritan Hospital campus in Cincinnati. President and CEO Mark Clement shared the news of the $140 million five-year plan for Good Samaritan in a Tuesday video update to staff obtained by The Enquirer. TriHealth officials later released details about the revamp. Plans shared by Clement in the video include new operating rooms and family waiting areas, as well as reorienting the hospital's main entrance from Clifton Avenue to Dixmyth Avenue near Martin Luther King Drive. Older buildings will eventually be demolished on the campus to make way for new structures.
